...yourself out of the amazon, leave that to it's bigger brother or a Range Rover. I'd like to say at this point that this car is NOT made in a BMW factory along side all the other models. The whole car it outsourced to a company in austria, which may explain the extremly diverse quality issues with this car, when compared to the rest of the BMW line up. The heated seats work lovely but I'm not sure why companies like Peugeot and Renault can offer all heated seats whilst this supposed TOTR X3 can only muster front heated seats? Is brand snobbery and the quest for making yourself look flash getting in the way of people buying value for money cars? I think so. Advantages: Beautiful design. Superb sound quality. Quality look and feel. Wide range of features.
Disadvantages: No common phone book. When reading or deleteing lists (call, SMS) it only applies to that phone.

...The iDECT X3i differs from the X3 in that it has a built in answer phone. Apart from that they are identical. We have both; we simply re-registered the X3 phones to the X3i base making it see 6 handsets. Firstly, forget any preconceptions you may have about these being Binatone phones, they leagues apart from what they used to produce in the past. The phones themselves are very stylish being only 15mm thick and have a lovely clean modern look about them. The keypad is of the membrane type that helps with keeping it clean if sticky fingers get at it! There are two colours of keypad available, a limited edition silver colour and a black. We have both but to be honest we prefer the black. The keypad is backlit as is the phones colour display. Despite this, standby life and talk-time are more than ample for the home environment...

Review of Binatone I-DECT X3

BMW Sporty Diesel with Low Running Costs

Advantages: Good Resale value, sporty, comfortable, sleek
Disadvantages: Feels same as a much older model.

...I bought a 2004 model 320DSE recently and am pleased to report it is a nice executive car. The 320D range start with a basic model then the ES then the SE and then of course the Mtec Sport. The level of goodies you get with the car go up with each model but they all driver the same apart from the sports suspension on the Mtec. I decided the Se was probably the best value for myself with Climate control, electric windows , 6 speed manual gearbox, electric windows all round, and cd player advantages over the ES. This is the second BMW I have owned. the first being a 316 made in 92, and I must report it is amazingly similar to drive. The pedals are offset to the right slightly but this feels quite natural, the, the brakes are exellent, and the clutch is fairly light but has quite a long travel which I find takes a while to get used to...

Review of BMW 320d

BMW X3 3.0L Sport

Advantages: Spacious family vehicle.
Disadvantages: Likes its fuel!

...I've had this vehicle for just over 1 year. At the time of buying i was unsure whether to get a 2.0L diesel or the 3.0L Sport. I ended up getting a really good deal on the sport so thought i'll go for the bigger engine. Petrol/Diesel - me being female - doesn't really bother me!! Well, that was until i purchased this car. My lord its so thirsty!! At the moment i have nearly reached 8000 miles and i'm getting 17 mpg. I thought in time this would get better - unfortuantely it hasn't. (I travel 11 miles to work, mostly in traffic) On a plus side, even though the car is expensive to run, its a lovely car. If you're a driver who travels lots on the motorway you would probably get 25 mpg, which isn't great but its barable. The car is the sport version, the suspension is a little hard but you would expect this from a sports car...

Review of BMW X3 3.0i

The Infocus X3 is the perfect family investment, for films or PC

Advantages: Simple to use, long lamp life
Disadvantages: Quite noisy fan, regular filter cleaning needed

...The X3 projector is a great projector for family use, especially for DVDs and home cinema. The lamp use is excellent but I had to be careful to always clean the filter to maximise the lamp life as lamps are very expensive. In my opinion, the X3 is very easy to use, and has easy installation onto any surface (even a wall) for projection with little space needed. The main concern when I bought this projector was whether it would be of good quality, and it has the standards needed for any video requirements. I wouldn't recommend this to gamers as such as it isn't as good for gaming systems, but still works fine. However, the use of it with a PC or Laptop is great, especially when you are wanting to use your desktop, video conference or simply view the screen....

X3 Reunion -a beautiful but flawed game

Advantages: amazing visuals, massive opportunities, open ended gameplay, wide choice of gameplay styles.
Disadvantages: High computer requirements. Currently very buggy, terrible terrible TERRIBLE storyline, bad acting, bad cgi cutscenes.

...X3 is actually the fourth in the X series, originally starting with X:Beyond The Frontier wayy back in 1997. All the X games have built upon what was offered in the orignal game. Basic story/game outline: player starts as the former pirate, who's father was searching for a way back home from the universe that he currently inhabits (think Farscape and your not too wrong), as you play along you find out more and more that leads you to why your stranded, the nature of the invading enemies, and your history. Gameplay: The real reason any player should buy the X series is not for the storyline, which is notoriously bad in pretty much all of them, its for the sheer open endedness of the game. it is as near to an offline, single player version of EVE that you can get. you can trade, build stations, fight races of creatures, pirates...

BMW Sytner Chigwell

Advantages: Great customer service, aparently no matter who you are.
Disadvantages: Services can be a bit pricey, but not as bad as you would think.

...I have visited BMW Sytner a few times over the last 3-4 years & I have to say, they have the best customer service i have experienced at any dealership, bar none. I am not your typical kind of guy you would see in a BMW showroom, I am 27 years old but look like I am 17, I probably go there looking a bit rag tag aswell (I think i do it on purpose, i am not fond of face value). But I always feel that they treat me with the same courtesy as all of their customers I have been to Sytner for 3 series parts a few times & no matter how small the problem, the staff are always very helpful & polite. They took their time to track down some E36 washers I could have probably got anywhere & smiled at me when i thought they would charge me for it!, lol. BMW 325i convertable

Advantages: Fair price, electric roof, leather interior, CD player and, of course 'blindingly rapid'.
Disadvantages: Quite expensive parts, can tend to guzzle petrol depending on the speed.

...Two years ago my brother was serching for a car which had class, good looks, gave a good performance, a soft-top and space for his golf clubs. He found a mattalic purple BMW 325i convertable which gave him everything above. The only thing it didn't give him was the good performance - instead it's performance was excellent. The soft-top folded back itself - what would you expect? The car came with black leather interior, a CD player, alloy wheels, a standard BMW alarm system and lots more. Insurance can obviously be high for a quality motor as with the BMW 325i. If anyone was going to buy this car my advice to them would be that: *BMW parts can be expensive, although replica parts are available at a fraction of the cost. *It may be necessary to buy a wind-breaker, (which breaks the sometimes violent wind when the roof is down...
