Everything is immaculately well maintained there, from the parks to the pavement. Getting There Boca is about an hours drive North from Miami airport in Palm Beach county...

Review of Boca Raton

A Boca Beauty!

Advantages: Stylish, classic, comfortable.
Disadvantages: You may have to pay a little more, but it's worth it!

Manufactured by Nike, you know that the quality will be good. It's in the sphere dry material, which has very little shine to it and keeps the classic blue and yellow colour scheme looking really great. It's also extremely comfortable to wear, either for leisure or playing in. The styling is a real triumph too. Of late, Nike have made some very, very dull shirts. They went through a spell of making exactly the same design shirts, just in different colour schemes and different badges. They also tended to make the colours slighlty out. Review of Nike Boca Juniors Away Football Shirt

Lie back on a deserted beach and think of England.

Advantages: Sun, Sea, Breathtaking beaches, Great diving and the Blue Bull Bar
Disadvantages: I don't live there....yet!

...If you are to travel anywhere in your life, GO TO BOCAS DEL TORO, those images of a tranquil beach lying in a hammock and sipping a Pina Colada can be a reality. I Went to Panama last year on a four week expedition to Costa Rica and Panama being next door was our obvious choice for diving and relaxing. So flying into San Jose airport, which is an experience in itself as for some reason the planes (or our plane at least) liked to do summersaults in the turbelence, but dont let this put you off. I'd recommend staying in San Jose (or Panama city) for the night as the trip across the canal is an adventure to say the least, that and its the last McDonalds you'll see for a while, thank god! Anyway if your travelling across the border from San Jose id recommend paying one of the young lads $5 to carry ur bags across or jump in a mini bus...

Review of Archipilago de Bocas del Toro (Panama)

Bus to the border from San Jose...

Advantages: Extremely cheap, friendly locals
Disadvantages: Isolated, not much to do,

...Bocas del Toro: a one horse town, where you just imagine the tumble weed rolling down the main street. It seems not a lot happens here these days - you'll find a handful of dive centres but the aquatic life boast little more than sea slugs & is nothing to get excited about. Some of the locals will offer ot take you out on their boats to go snorkelling but even that requires a strong imagination. There is no beach so sunbathings' out too. Located on Panamas Western (Carribbean) coast, Bocas del Toro is a day & halfs' journey by bus/train/foot/boat from the Costa Rican capital San Jose. I visited the town in 1999 on a whirlwind tour of Central America as I was keen to get out of the sanitised/Americanised Costa Rica & explore a place with a little more culture & history. Sadly it was the furthest I ventured it into Panama proper...

This door was an exquisite product of the arabesque art and when local folks in Barcelona went to view it, they all remained with their mouths open. "Boca" is the Spanish and Catalan word for mouth, hence the name Boqueria. The place were this door was shown to the locals was, guess what (!), the actual market of Boqueria! Nice eh!...

Review of Isla Taboga (Panama)

River plate deep mountain high

Advantages: lightweight and comfortable
Disadvantages: little obscure; tend to find people ask "who's that club?" a lot

...River plate are my favourite Argentinian team other than Boca juniors, this may seem like a huge contradiction (its as good as saying my favourite Mancunian team is Man United, other than City of course!), but its true, the only reason i love Boca so much is because when the young Diego Armando Maradona was playing there his Bronca (bull like rage), on the field brought the place to life. Buenos Aeries is a city close to my heart, since the Peronist rule and Piccatero's with protests against the hyper inflation (due to the peso being inexterably linked to the US dollar) the city has been on the up and up. A popular destination with tourists and footballers alike the beautiful capitol is responsible for some of the greatest argentinian players ogf all time, Ardilles, Villa, Maradona, Daniel Passerella...the list is endless.
