...I just love The Body Shop's strawberry shower gel! This reasonably priced shower gel (£5.85 for 250ml) is a God send. You only need put an 'almond sized' amount of the gel onto a bath lily to produced a rich foamy lather. The lather lasts too and doesn't disappear after a few seconds. It glides onto skin with ease and has the most wondeful strawberry scent, which smells almost good enough to eat (for health and safety reasons I must point out that eating shower gel is not advised!). After showering with this product my skin always feels soft and smooth and smells absolutely yummy. As I have previously said a little goes a long way and therefore really is good value for money. ...that you don't really get much of a lather and you have to use a lot more of it. If you apply the shower gel using a sponge you will only have to use a small blob the size of a 20 pence piece in order to get fully washed with. After you have bathed using this shower gel you will notice that your skin feels a little softer than before and of course it will smell highly fragranced. The fragrance from the body wash is gorgeous and most definitely masculine, it smells really similar to the perfume/aftershave. The fragrance which this shower gel leaves on your skin is fairly long lasting, you should still notice the fragrance lingering on your skin a few hours after you have bathed/showered. I noticed that a lot of my Lush shower gels are approaching their use-by dates, and as such have been using them regularly over the past few weeks to make sure I use them up on time! I got given this as a present, because when it comes to shower gel I usually buy the reasonably cheap stuff so it is quite nice to have an expensive one to try and use! I had the Ghost perfume so it was lovely to get the bath and shower gel to match it. The smell of this is absolutely lovely. It is not a heavy smell but quite light with the smells of jasmine, hibiscus, rose petals, spicy sandalwood, vanilla, musk, frankincense, apricots and ambergris (sounds like lots and lots of different smells but they really go well together!) The size of the tube is 200ml. I haven't actually seen this product in the 200ml size that I have in any shops. ...For Christmas my sister got me a set of Nina by Nina Ricci products, including the perfume, shower gel and body lotion. I absolutely adore the scent of the perfume and have been wearing it regularly, but due to my mountain of bath products, it's only been in the last few weeks that I have had the chance to try out the matching shower gel. Nina, if you're not familiar, is a perfume by Nina Ricci, which comes in a red, apple-shaped bottle. It's an incredibly sweet and feminine scent, and I was really looking forward to trying out the matching shower gel. The shower gel comes in a white tube, which has a picture of a red apple, with shiny silver leaves, just like the perfume bottle itself.
