...The Sanctuary Body Butter. The Sanctuary began as a Spa in Covent Garden over 30 years ago. Their philosophy is all about providing the time, space and expertise for women to renew that glow. I've never been to the Spa but friends have been and they do say that it is a wonderful experience and definitely a very upmarket product. The Sanctuary beauty products were produced in 1998. Customers had been wanting to take the spa experience home with them without needing a therapist or special equipment so they came up with the idea of selling their products. Lovely Body Butter!

...A few years ago a friend of mine bought me a gift set from The Body Shop for Christmas and amongst the items contained therein was a pot of body butter. I really wasn?t expecting to like it at all; from the term ?body butter? I expected it to be really greasy and oily. I was quite wrong and have been hooked ever since! The one I am currently using is the Satsuma Body Butter which normally retails at £12.20 for a pot containing 200ml although there is an offer on at the moment reducing the price by 20% so it is only £9.76. If you do like Body Shop products it is worth keeping your eyes open during the year as they often have special offers so it is worth stocking up when things are cheaper. The best body butters around!

Advantages: smells gorgeous and makes your skin feel it too!

...I received a tester sample of this body butter and that is what sold it to me as otherwise I probably would never have bothered with what seemed like an expensive body moisturiser! However this is a totally luxurious body moisturiser and is well worth its £12.50 pricetag believe it not! The ingredients include Shea butter to moisturise and soften skin, Caprylic which also softens skin and is derived from coconut oil and finally cocoa butter which melts at body temperature, leaving the skin feeling soft and silky smooth. Now this product claims its offers up to 24 hours moisturisation and i'd have to say I agree with it! As soon as it sinks onto your skin it feels beautifullly silky smooth and continues to feel that way for ages plus the smell lasts too! Really moisturising body butter

Advantages: Really hydrating, nice smell, leaves skin moisturised for ages

It is a bright mid blue bottle with ?lemon and sage? in yellow writing and ?body butter? in bigger writing beneath it. The Bliss logo is also at the top of the bottle. Beneath the writing there is a cartoon style picture of a lemon. The bottle is fun but it just doesn?t look great quality. Review of Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter

A delicious and fruity smelling body butter.

Advantages: The smell stays on your body, but isn't overpowering.
Disadvantages: None! It's great.

...I've known the Body Shop body butters range smell nice, everytime I've been in The Body Shop I always like to sniff them, however I've never bought one before because I don't often use a body lotion as the skin on my body isn't particularly dry or anything. I recently got a free gift when I spent over £25 in the Body Shop and inside the gift was a free 50ml tub of the Strawberry Body Butter, so I finally own one! This Body Butter comes in a lovely red screw top tub, and the top has a a label which shows a picture of stawberries, and it states it's meant for nomal skin. I know their other body butters can be aimed at other types of skin for example the Coconut Body Butter is aimed at dry skin. As soon as you open this tub up the smell of strawberries hits you. One sickly sweet body butter!

...I love body butters and believe that the Body Shop ones are the best. This in mind I thought I would try another of their range and plumped for Strawberry! I bought it for £12.50 from Amazon using my vouchers hurrah so at least if it turned out to be a disappointment I wouldn't have lost any real money! I bought the big 200g tub which is a dark red with strawberries on the top. The actual butter is a light pink colour. As soon as you open the lid you get a whiff of the strawberries and cream. This reminds me rather of those strawberries and cream lollies you can buy so pleasent but a little artifical perhaps. The consistency of the body butter is the same as the others being very thick and buttery. Indeed you can open the pot hold it upside down and none will drop out. I then normally get a largish dollop and put it on my legs...

Coconut body butter

...It's been a while I have shopped at The Body Shop. There wasn't a real reason why I stopped going I just didn't really like their stuff any more. Recently though I received a free 50ml pot of Coconut Body Butter with Marie Claire magazine and I loved it so much that I will definitely be making a trip to Body Shop, (or at least their website). ~~~~~~ The pot I have is 50ml which is worth £5.00 and comes in a little brown plastic pot. The lid is a screw off affair and does up nice and tightly meaning I can carry it around in my bag. Once you open the lid you are greeted by a smell very similar to coconut milk.
