Dove Body Moisturiser

...I have used a lot of body moisturisers over the years, but the one brand that I always go back to is Dove. Whether its face moisturisers, gradual tan, shampoo and conditioners, body wash, deodorants or just a bar of soap, I really like Dove products. They are affordable, I have never had any form of reaction to the products, they do what they say, and they all make your face, body or hair feel really soft! Really moisturising body butter

Advantages: Really hydrating, nice smell, leaves skin moisturised for ages
Disadvantages: Hard to rub in, expensive!

...also worried that the smell would be overpowering which it often is with expensive brands, however it really is quite subtle, yet no so subtle you can barely smell it. The fragrance lasts on your skin for a few hours which is nice. Even though it is described as body ?butter? I was still surprised at how thick it was. It came out of the bottle quite easily and didn?t look too thick, however when I came to rub it in I struggled quite a bit to spread it over my skin as it is so thick. Because of the thickness I couldn?t spend as long as I normally would massaging it in as it just didn?t slide over the skin like body lotions do. It also meant I had to use more than I normally would but I would still say the thick texture of it is a good quality as it really soothes the skin and leaves it feeling intensely moisturised. Neutrogena Body Emulsion Moisturising Lotion

Advantages: Moisturises really well, absorbs quickly, doesn't irritate sensitive skin, only a small amount needed

...I have very sensitive skin and it's really hard finding moisturiser for my face because certain ingredients make my ezcema flare up and my skin looks blotchy for the rest of the day! I was using Clinique Dramatically Different moisturiser then, which was okay but nothing special, but I was running out and I hadn't enough cash to buy the Clinique moisturiser, and this one was half price in Boots, so I bought it, not expecting it to be any good. Neutrogena Body Emulsion is recommended by dermatologists and is clinically proven to relieve dry skin. It claims to boost moisture levels for 17 hours, which is very impressive! It is manufactured by Johnson and Johnson. The bottle is rectangular shaped with a pump dispenser. It contains 200ml. Summer Body

Advantages: Nice smell, good moisturiser
Disadvantages: Beware when applying to elbows and knees, only comes in one shade

...I have very fair skin (I struggle to find a foundation that isn't too dark) and wanted to look not quite so deathly pale when the weather warms up and I have to reveal my legs and arms to the world. I have never used proper fake tan as I am far too scared that it will go wrong and I will look like I have been tangoed, so a moisturiser with a hint of fake tan seemed a good solution. I have tried Johnson's Holiday Skin in the past but couldn't stand the chemical smell, so when I saw that Garnier had done a version I thought I would give it a go as I like their other products. A good moisturising glow

Advantages: moisturises and adds a healthy tinted glow
Disadvantages: the packaging could be better designed

I find that during the summer months that I'm not so keen on using a full foundation on a day to day basis as I feel it melts into my skin too much and makes me look too oily. Therefore, the tinted moisturiser is ideal to keep the skin moist and soft whilst still adding a subtle hint of colour.
