mareth
Advantages: clearer, cleaner, fresher skin
Disadvantages: may be unsuitable for some people
...for money too. It is not tested on animals either.
Since trying the tea tree facial wash, I have gone on to try other tea tree products such as the skin freshener, face mask, shampoo, body wash and soap....

NICE AND CLEAN
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash by
kellyv43
Advantages: cleans and refreshes
Disadvantages: none
...I have tried so many different products on my face all claiming to be the miracle cure I was looking for to help get rid of my spots once and for all. I have tried clearasil face wash, oxy face wash and many more, but none of them really did much apart from dry out my face completely. Then one day I was having a look around the body shop and I came across their tea tree oil collection, which had many products including the face wash. I had to give it a go.
The facial wash comes in small see through bottles so that you can see the lime green colour of the facial wash. They come in a variety of different sizes 60ml,125ml and 250ml and the price depends on what size you buy. As I had never used the product before I decided to buy the smallest bottle which cost £2.50. The bottle has a black square on the front of it where it displays...

...this face wash and never ever use anything else. My skin has really improved since using this facial wash and it is a pleasurable experience to wash my face with it. The smell, the lather and the zingy feeling all make The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil facial wash my number one beauty product....

Keep free from spots!
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Foam Face Wash by
traveller22
Advantages: Brilliant for fighting spots
Disadvantages: None
...Tea Tree Oil comes from the Tea Tree plant, and the oil is known for its healing and anti-bacterial properties.
When I had spots as a teenager I tried many spot creams and other products such as clearasil and Oxy to try and get rid of spots, but had no success!
Tea Tree Oil on the other hand (especially Body Shop's facial wash), got rid of my spots and kept them away. I was amazed!
It comes in small containers with a black flip cap. The Tea Tree Oil is green and has smells quite nice. It recommends to wash twice a day with it, I find washing just once a day using it does the job fine. Keeps the face refreshed for hours!
It is slightly more expensive than other facial washes/creams, but I don't mind paying more for something that works well.
You can buy this product from The Body Shop which has many stores around the U...

The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator
Review of The Body Shop Aloe Gentle Exfoliator by
lawjlove
Advantages: Great for sensitive skin
Disadvantages: None
...As with The Body Shop Aloe foaming facial wash I also highly recommend the Aloe gentle Exfoliator as well.
Again this is a fantastic product for anyone with sensitive skin; it polishes your skin to reveal smooth skin without any horrible irritation.
Product
It is a gentle exfoliator which contains natural aloe which contains an anti-irritant, the aloe itself contains 70 essential elements that work in combination to help soothe and moisturise skin that is prone to sensitivity, it is colour, fragrance and preservative free.
The aloe used in this particular product is one of the Body Shops community Trade products and comes from Guatemala, so whilst purchasing this product you are giving something back to help others that are doing all the hard work providing us with these fantastic ingredients.
The exfoliator lifts away those dull...

Gentle facial wash that's kind on your skin
Review of Simple Really Creamy Foaming Facial Wash by
pinkelephantuk
Advantages: Simply straightforward and it last for ages
Disadvantages: None really!
...I don't know how many times I've bought a face wash which has left my skin feeling uncomfortable so when I found this one which is really gentle, I thought I would share it with you.
Simple make a good range of face products, which are unperfurmed. The good thing about this is that you don't have to worry about some horribly flowery or astringent smell. Plus, if you have sensitive skin, then this should be better for you.
Simple Foaming Facial Wash comes in a 150ml squeezy bottle and costs around £3.69 (£2.46 per 100ml). This is widely available in shops like Boots and Superdrug, and supermarkets. You won't miss the Simple range of face products, which are green and white.
Usage
This facial wash feels gentle enough to use twice a day. It's easier to lather up if you wet your hands slightly first, then squeeze a little 20p piece...

Stick to pure tea tree oil and save your face
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Scrub by
cladach29
Advantages: Nice smell, nice packaging
Disadvantages: Poor exfoliator, expensive
...after washing, I did not persist in using it as it did not improve my skin and if anything actually made it worse. I think there is some debate currently about whether exfoliation really benefits acne and whether in fact it doesn't just exacerbate the problem. I switched to simply using a regular moisturising facial wash and applying Body Shop pure tea tree oil to problem areas, and my skin improved quite quickly.
---Value for money---
A bit pricey given that there are other facial washes, including exfoliators, which are cheaper. Currently is priced at GBP 3-4.
---Availability---
In all Body Shop outlets (UK and Australia).
---Summary---
Not a particularly good product for me, and not great value for money; perhaps best enjoyed by those who regularly use exfoliating face washes and are looking to try something new. May or may not help...

IT WORKS....................
Review of The Body Shop Tea Tree Oil Facial Wash by
wilsam00
Advantages: It leaves your face feeling clean and refreshed.
Disadvantages: It can be only be bought in the Body Shop.
...Most of us have been there when the spots are just starting to emerge through your skin and within a week whoosh before you get to the pharmasist your face is covered from your chin to your forehead with spots and blachheads.
Its ovious but when you have been bombarded by spots all you want to do is get rid of them unwanted spots and blackheads on your face.If you are suffering from spots,by using this it will prevent you from getting anymore and help get rid of them. The product from the Body shop known as ''Tea Tree oil facial wash'' actually does work its not so good at removing spots but is excelent at preventing anymore from emerging out of your skin.
If you find that the wash can not cope with your massive bulging spots i would also recommend 'Oxy pads' which would make a brilliant second product. You must keep up using...

Vitamin E Facial Wash
Review of The Body Shop Vitamin E Gentle Facial Wash by
EmmaL47
Advantages: Leaves skin very soft
Disadvantages: Doesn't clean deeply enough.
...I was looking for a product that would moisturise my skin but also cleanse it well. I was attracted to this product because of its' clean looking packaging and because of the fact it has Vitamin E in it. Vitamin E is an antioxidant and can help protect the skin from the effects from pollution and weather conditions. I also liked that it claimed to moisturise and deep cleanse.
When I first used this product I noticed straight away how soft and smooth my skin felt afterwards. I didn't however, feel that it cleansed deeply enough, but I gave it another chance and kept a lookout for the change. I still don't think it cleanses deeply enough, but it does leave my skin very soft. This is why I use ordinary soap or another cleanser (whichever you prefer) and then use this Vitamin Wash.
If you already have good skin I would reccomend...
