Advantages: Subtle fragrance, smells lovely, not expensive, aroma lasts for ages

Musk madness.

Advantages: Matches the other white musk products.
Disadvantages: Stinks of alcohol and isn't the most effective product.

...I can't even remember how I came to own this product but that doesn't matter anyway does it. I like The Body Shops White Musk and when I wear it I tend to use the EDT and body lotion together to prolong the scent as much as possible as it is not the best when it comes to lasting all day. I thought that by wearing this I might be able to get more longevity to my fragrance. This comes in your average roller ball deodorant packaging, it is white but with a purple sheen to it and purple writing on it. It stands at 11cm tall so is average in size and contains 50ml. This costs £5.00, quite a bit more than most standard deodorants. Due to it's high cost, I had high hopes! I love the body lotion

Advantages: Easily absorbed by the skin, gentle perfume

...The Body Shop's "White Musk" Body Lotion is one of the staples in my self-pampering arsenal. I began by using it on it's own, because it's soft, delicate smell complemented the perfume sprays that I tended to wear all the time. It rubbed into my skin beautifully, was absorbed easily and there was no stickiness or greasy residue - important when you have clothes touching your skin , and don't want to ruin the fabric. Ah, but then I began to experiment, using it as a base, a part it lends itself to, extremely well. I mixed fragrant oils, ottar of roses, lilac, jasmine and honeysuckle, and shook them up in that White Musk base. It emulsified without any problems, and the perfume was delicious. WHITE MUSK IS A MUST!

...I rarely go in the Body Shop, it's one of those shops that I tend to forget about when I'm out shopping for toiletries, but when I do go in I always come out with a bottle of White Musk body spray. I first tried this as a teenager my friends all loved the vanila range but I thought it was too sickly and preferred the White Musk, it's still the same now as it was back then it's just gone up in price a little, but what doesn't? THE BOTTLE....The body spary is 100ml in size, the bottle is transparent plastic with pale lilac writing, it looks very simple with the Body Shop logo in small letters. It has a pump action spray nozzle that when pressed sprays a fine mist of the scent, this I find works well. THE SCENT.....The Body Shop advertise this as being sensual and romantic, I would agree. It is hard to describe what it actually smells...

A musky story!

Advantages: Nice smell, easy to apply, none sticky and great with other white musk products
Disadvantages: Over-priced, makes no claims and not great to use with other none white musk products

...really did just fall out with it as it was far too strong for me. I'm not sure if the fragrance was more popular or whether it was stronger but I got literally sick of smelling it and I became a white musk fan. Nowadays of course there are so many fragrances to choose from I am no longer limited and as far as fragrances go I own alot of very expensive ones and I'm not just talking the fragrances but body lotions and shower gels etc as well. I fell out of love with The Body Shop when it stopped offering me something unique. Yes it had cornered the market for a long time but it doesn't now. If I want fabulous bath and body products I much prefer Lush and the fresh approach, and the promise of no animal testing there either. If I want make up there are loads of brands around that don't test on animals and cost a snip of The Body Shop prices...

...I've always been a fan of the Body Shop. They always create wonderful aromas whether it is creams or scents. Everything is beautifully packaged and there is the added bonus of Body Shops animal testing policy. The White Musk selection has to be my favourite. There is a wide selection of products from body lotion to talc and of course perfume. I bought the 'White Musk Body Spray' which comes in a clear plastic bottle with a pump spray. It looks almost like a bottle of water. It costs £5.75 and I would say it was worth the money as I bought mine in November and I still have over half a bottle left. Because the scent is so heavy a few squirts is all you need. There is no need for additional perfume because of it's strong aroma.
