Boi-ing! And the circles are gone!

Advantages: Actually covers dark circles; good staying power

...I am a big sufferer of dark circles - apparently it's a genetic thing, because no matter how much sleep I get, they still plague me. A good concealer is essential for me and Benefit's Boi-ing is so far the best I've come across. Benefit make massive claims about the effectiveness of this, saying: "Say good-bye to circles and shadows around your eyes with boi-ing. Our industrial-strength concealer camouflages those pesky "problems" without creasing, smudging, or wearing off." I have to admit that, compared to most of Benefit's other excitingly packaged products, Boi-ing may appear a tad on the dull side. It has recently been repackaged and now comes in a small black circle with a twist off lid. Compared to the more exciting YSL Touche Eclait and the gold pen, I can see that this might be a little boring. Boi-ing comes in three shades...

At £2.50 per gram this stuff is not cheap, and it was a real stretch on a student budget. But the flu had made me crazy and extravagant, and I bought the stuff anyway. The range is a bit confusing, so get the sales assistant to help you choose, and it only comes in three colours - lite, medium and dark. My skin is quite pale, and I use medium, so I suspect the dark isn't very. Which means if you don't fit into one of their skin types you can't use it... ...I bought Benefit's Realness of Concealness kit a couple of months ago, which contained small sizes of five of their products, one of which was their Boi-ing concealer. Marketed as an 'industrial strength concealer', this product is designed specifically for use under the eyes. Benefit also claim that this concealer will disguise problem areas without creasing, smudging or wearing off. Usually the concealer would come packaged in a round plastic tub, but as mine was part of a kit, mine was actually just a small amount in a little tray inside the kit itself. I Love A Bit Of Boi-ing!

Advantages: Lasts Ages, Easy To Apply, Full Coverage, Variety Of Shades

...I don't usually get lines or circles or whatever but I must say that I am prone to the odd breakout with my skin. So really I need a concealer strong enough to mask these imperfections but kind enough not to make any spots even worse! And that's where benefit's Boi-ing concealer comes in handy. I first tried this product before my senior ball. We went to get a makeover by benefit in Harvey Nichols and this meant that the woman used the benefit products that suited out skin and fitted our entire make up routine to suit us. I had never really used concealer because normally I just cake foundation over any spots and hope for the best (but as you may already know this really isn't subtle and generally doesn't work. But, just my luck, because we had a ball and everyone would be looking there best I had to get a minging spot on my face...

Boi-ing back to life!

...Thank Goodness for Boi-ing! After having my daughter 3 years ago it became quite apparent that I needed some 'industrial strength' concealor' to hide blemishes, dark circles and eye bags. Something that was a little better than my usual cheaper product. Then Christmas arrived and i was lucky enough to receive Benefit's Boi-ing - I had found my match. It does just the trick. It fantastic. Boi-ing glides on perfectly and has a lovely creamy texture. It is easily applied with your finger tips and lasts throughout the day. It doesn't leave a powdery residue which some cheaper products can and can be easily removed. Although fairly expensive, it is one product which I will continually buy as it is so good. As well as being a brilliant product, the packaging is funky too, keeping in line with Benefit's image....

Boi-ing didn't make me feel very bouncy, sorry.

Disadvantages: too orange, doesn't hide blemishes too well, rubbish texture

...I have been a Benefit fan for quite a while so I was quite keen to try 5 products at once by way of the Realness of Concealness kit. One of these products was Boi-ing. Sadly, I really didn't like it, and of the 5 in the RofC kit it was the worst one I tried. - It basically looked orange on my skin, though I'm quite pale so maybe the shade in the RofC kit was not the right one for me. I have been informed, though, that there are only three shades, so finding the right one sounds like it would be a bit hit and miss. - I also found it really tricky to apply - it didn't blend in well AT ALL and I had to help it along with some water. Even then I wasn't totally happy with it. - The texture is also far too stiff - would prefer it in more of a lotion consistency. - Perhaps more importantly, I didn't find it covered my blemishes...

Also, Boi-ing is long lasting so theres no need to keep touching up throughout the day. £15.50 will get you a 3.0g concealer in a stylish and sturdy black compact with a mirror in the lid so its great for popping in your makeup bag or purse. Well worth the money...Get yourself to your nearest Benefit counter (usually in boots and department stores like debenhams)...

The holy grail of concealers: Boi-ing! (Benefit cosmetics)

Advantages: Blends well, economical, brilliant packaging!
Disadvantages: Can look caked on if too much is used on dry skin.

...I must admit, I am a bit of a make-up addict; you name the product and I probably have it! However, I am a big believer in the fact that, if your skin isn't perfect, it doesn't matter how much lipgloss or eyeliner you wear, you just aren't going to look your best. The reason I love 'Boi-ing' concealer so much is that it truly is an 'industrial strength' concealer. I've often found with more readily available high-street brands such as Rimmel etc, concealers can be slightly oily, and sometimes too powdery-looking, giving a caked on look, not good! The quality of 'Boi-ing' means that you only have to use a little of it to completely cover spots and blemishes, which is both better for your skin, and in the long run, more economical. I have fair skin so my 'Boi-ing' concealer is the lightest shade, shade 01, I've found this shade matches...
