...Bold 2 in 1 Lavender and Camomile washing capsules..... I have found myself skipping from one washing brand to another mainly depending on which one is the cheapest when I do my weekly shop but for the last few times I have found myself buying the same brand and that is this Bold 2 in 1 in the Lavender and Camomile fragrance. Luckily enough the liquid tabs were on special offer in Tesco last week and a large tub of 30 capsules (30 washes) was £4 instead of £5 something, so giving you a saving of over £1 which I thought was pretty good. Bold2in1 washing liquid

Advantages: makes your clothes soft and smell lovely
Disadvantages: does not make whites as bright

...I used to use bold2in1 powder and tablets for over 2 years although I have never been loyal to any particular brand and often use various other brands along with Bold. However,I changed from using powder to liquid as I discovered it is easier to use without the mess and hassle of powder. The ease of having to pour the liquid of your desired amount into the dosing ball. I also find that It doesn't fade coloured items like powder can. The bold liquid range also leaves the clothes smelling lovely with a strong smell that can be detected after the clothes have dried. I use the maximum recommended amount of 150ml stated on the back of the bottle as I live in a hard water area. Bold retails at around £3.75 for the 1.5L bottle, with the recommended amount of 20 washes per bottle stated at the front of the bottle, I personally get...

Polytar Liquid Shampoo

Advantages: Works great on dandruff!
Disadvantages: It stinks!

...WHAT IS POLYTAR? Polytar is a shampoo for the following: itchy flaking scalps, eczema, seborrhoea, psoriasis and dandruff. I have suffered on and off for the past few years with mild dandruff which has always annoyed me as I have dark hair and it can be noticeable if left untreated. The fact that my scalp is dry makes it itchy which leads to even more flaking when I itch it. My review is going to be on how well the shampoo worked with dandruff and not the following scalp conditions as mentioned above. Polytar is a watery liquid which isn?t very much like normal shampoo which turns into a lather in the hair. It is brown/golden in colour and has a very strong smell, which doesn?t in my opinion smell nice! The shampoo is used as a substitute for any current shampoos that you may be using, so you are not meant to mix them both together...

Bold 2 in 1 Liquitabs

Advantages: Great smelling clothes (&House!!)
Disadvantages: Bit pricey

...We had a money off voucher for Bold 2 in 1 Liquitabs and so we bought some. We chose Lavender and Chamomile and popped a load in the washing machine. You have to place one Liquitab in the back of the drum and then place the washing inside, set the programme and let the machine do it's job. The liquid is a mixture of detergent and fabric softener and is sealed inside a thin membrane which dissolves in water. It is very important to handle with dry hand and store with the lid closed and out of direct sunlight. The outer container is plastic with a snap shut lid and has all the product information and instructions in colourful labels on the outside. Unfortunately as with most other Liquid Tabs products, they are not suitable for handwashing. I also, personally feel that no washing tablet or liquid pouch are value for money if...

Blackberry Bold 9000

Advantages: Easy to use, pleasent to look at, good battery life, big memory, good camera, easily customisable.
Disadvantages: May not be for those who prefer a smaller phone.

To Boldly Go...

Advantages: Central location, refurbished rooms

...This two star family owned hotel lies in a central position on Lord Street (the main shopping street in Southport). It has recently undergone some refurbishment and I have coincidentally had the opportunity to stay. The Bold Hotel lies towards the northern end of Lord Street, close to the Grand Casino, for those who know the area. It is easily spotted having a prominent white façade. The hotel has an area to the front which is used in the summer months as a terrace from which one can sit with a drink and watch the world pass by. In winter months it adds a few, much needed, parking spaces. The ground floor of the hotel houses the bar and restaurant. The only access to reception and the guestrooms is through the bar. The bar is busy with non-residents on Friday and Saturday evenings and it can be a bit of a struggle to fight your way...

...too often dumped in the laundry basket , this being a far easier option than hanging in the wardrobe. Finally we have my son whom I think must eat off his shirt as opposed to a plate. (He is in training to be a man!) With all this in mind, you will appreciate that the affair between myself and my current washing machine (must do a review on that later...) is both active and turbulent. I wash every day or more to the point, I use the washing machine for a laundry wash, every day. The choice of washing detergent is therefore an important one. At times I have favoured Surf, Ariel and Daz ( no plastic daffodils , please) but the one on the job at the moment is Bold. I have tried powder, liquid, capsules, waccy baccy (!) , and tablets. The product in review at present is Bold 2in1 with the latest fragrance of Lavender and Camomile...

Are you bold enough

Advantages: Smells glorious! Keeps the laundry smellings good. Cleans really well.

...Bold is the washing powder I used most frequently. Yes, I do try others. If there's new or different brands on the market, I'll try them.
