Energy drink at a great price

...commit themselves to delivery high quality product at low affordable prices and from what I have seen so far I would say they achieve this. What do I use it for Now as it?s an energy drink, its ideal for when you?re extremely tired or in my case when I have not woken up. It really does give you the boost you require to get you through the next few hours. Now this drink does not work miracles and I do not recommend any tired drivers using this and then continuing to drive. Lately I have been using it as a alcohol drink mixer when I am at any house party or I have a few in the house, I tend to use it in vodka and it certainly keeps you going for a lot longer and tones down the adverse affects of vodka! This could "EMERGE " as the best energy drink!

Advantages: Ok tasting and seems to give a little energy boost.
Disadvantages: Full of sugar and calories.

...caffeine and other active ingredients to give your body a sugar rush and a recharge of energy, this makes then fairly unhealthy drinks as a high sugar, glucose and caffeine level is never a good thing but Emerge does at least counter this somewhat with the addition of vitamins B5, B6, B2 and B12. The other things that go into this drink are nowhere near as positive as the added vitamins however, the drink also contains, sugar, Glusose-frutose syrup and Citric acid (all at high levels) and lengthy list of colourings and additives. The taste as I mentioned is similar to red bull which for those of you that have not tried red bull is a taste somewhere between kids cough medicine and bubblegum and whilst that does not sound particularly pleasant it is actually ok and the drink is more designed to give an energy boost that to be delicious...

Advantages: It's not too pricey for the 500ml can - tastes pretty good - gives a great energy boost

Advantages: It's fairly cheap and serves its purpose as an energy drink.
Disadvantages: Slightly nasty taste followed by an even nastier aftertaste.

It DOES claim to be "Double the size, double the kick", presumably being the larger brother of a 250ml can, but despite being advertised on their website, I've never myself seen such a can. Another "interesting" little snippet is that not only is there an "Original flavour" (which I can only presume tastes vile), you can also get your grubby little mits on guava, mango, pomegranate, and, wait for it, coffee flavours. This energy drink contains the powerful herbal ingredients of Guarana,Ginkgo,Ginseng and Milk Thistle which when all these ingredients are put together they can provide an amazing energy drink for anyone who needs an energy boost. Also there is caffeine in the drink as well. The best way to enjoy the drink is to have it chilled. It is very refreshing and it is not too fizzy. The mango flavour one yes you taste the mango and also the one that has guava in it. There is also another drink which has pomegranate in it but that one I did not enjoy as much neither did my daughter but it does depend on the individual and their taste. Disadvantages: Possibly harmful in copious amounts.

a refreshing energy boost

...I was picking up some bits in Holland and Barrett the other day and decided to see what drinks they had. Normally at lunch I go to Costas to buy a coffee but I am trying to lose some weight so I thought I would see what I could get as an alternative. Next to the energy drinks and fruit juices I noticed some cans called 'wellwoman refreshing health & vitality' made by a company called vitabiotics. It was described as a low calorie still drink with pomegranate & cranberry juice. I love both these flavours so I thought I would give it a try and added 4 cans to my basket. They are 74p each in Holland and Barrett. According to their website it is also available from Waitrose and Asda. I like to try differebnt energy drinks but this has to be my favourite. I love Irn Bru and this is exactly that but with the added caffine. It tastes much better than many of its rivals, and at 79p for 330 ml compared with 99p for 250ml of Red Bull represents good value. Oh did you know that it origially came in a 250ml can but then they made it bigger. How much bigger, if you?ve not aready guessed it its 32%.
