Basil can Phill his boots, it's only light.
Advantages: A tasty alternative
Disadvantages: None for me
... KRAFT PHILADELPHIA LIGHT BASIL
Introduction.
I was never a lover of Philadelphia Cheese in any form.
My daughter loved it on toasted bagels but personaly I found the taste very bland and stayed clear.
Then in 2006 I started doing (what was then called) the No Count plan with Weight Watchers.
(This plan then became Core and is now lurking somewhere under the muddy waters of the Discover plan as Simply Filling.)
Anyway, I digress, on the No Count you basically ate three meals a day of as much as you wanted from the food list - the only cheese allowed on this list was this extra light cheese and cottage cheese - this was CERTAINLY the best of the two options - I detest cottage cheese!!
From then on this cheese ( lovingly known by WW members as ELF - extra low fat) has become a regular product in my...

dewalt traditional site safety boots
Advantages: good grip, good padding, solid sole
Disadvantages: Expensive, very large and clumsy, where not up to the task in my case.
...I bought these boots last year from my local screwfix shop costing just under sixty five pounds. This is probably the most expensive pair of work boots i have bought in 8 years of working in the construction industry. The boots are not uncomfortable round the ankle etc the tops are quite padded and they do have great grip on the sole But for me they where just far too clumsy and heavy, walking stairs in them was a nightmare as although they where the correct size on the inside its almost as if the outside is 2 sizes bigger than other boots, catching the toes on stairs and tripping is not good if your carrying heavy or hazardous materials. on top of this the boots started leaking after about six months wear and tear. then the sole practically fell off after about eight months leaving me requiring new boots.
these boots can now be found...

Boots Soltan Self Tan Light
Advantages: nice, streak free tan
Disadvantages: the way Boots kept prompting you to buy their other products through the directions on the can
...Boots Soltan Self Tan Light
Three months I won this in a packet of prizes. Last week, with the good weather (though I like the weather, I don't want skin care so instead of hours of sunbathing and burnt skin, I opted for faking it) I decided I wasn't going to be the palest person on the planet and got to work. I normally use the Piz Buin fake tan and I'm never used mousse before. There's no category for the light mousse so I hope you don't mind me put it in the Medium section.
++Variety, the price and availability ++
There are only two mousses. Soltan Self Tan No Streaks Mousse Light and Soltan Self Tan No Streaks Mousse Medium. Also there's sprays, wipes or lotion in the self-tan range of Boots.
As it's a Boots brand, you can only get it at Boots. It's on special offer so at the moment it's £4.65 instead being £6...

I Have Seen The Light
Advantages: Makes skin look younger
Disadvantages: Expensive, difficult to get out of the bottle
...on the job the product is designed to do. It just looks dull, boring and sensible, certainly not my cup of tea.
Most of the products in this range are also available in Boots Number 7 range but with slightly different names, classier packaging and higher price tags.
The product I chose was Light Diffusing Serum, which comes in a black box, because it is from the ?conceal? section of products (the others being ?repair? and ?protect.?)
The information on the box claims that this product provides ?instantly younger looking skin? ? I was dubious. Instant results? It also claims to repair signs of ageing and protect the skin ? big claims, but amazingly enough, big claims which it lived up to very well.
It comes in a 30 ml frosted glass bottle, which is quite elegant and looks very nice on a dressing table because the serum itself is...

Boots - the Store
Advantages: Quality products all under one roof
Disadvantages: None
...Everybody's favourite High Street chemist and beauty store!
The Boots Company PLC is a chain of high street stores known for their pharmacy and beauty/health products. You can find a Boots on just about every high street in Britain. In fact Boots has approximately 1,500 stores in the UK and abroad. This is the thing I like most about it, you are always guaranteed to find a store wherever you are in the country which makes it easy when you need to buy a repeat brand or just need to pop into one quickly because you have left your toothbrush at home on a weekend away.
Boots was founded in Nottingham in 1849 by a gentleman called John Boot, hence the name and turned into a chain by his son Jesse. Boots stores are very easy to spot and recognize on the high street. They include a big blue sign with Boots written on it in cursive white...

"Boots The Chemist" is one of the best known retail names in the UK, providing health & beauty products that "enhance personal wellbeing." This covers everything from home essentials like toothpaste and deoderant to high end makeup products from Chanel and Yves Saint Laurent.

Boots
Advantages: Convenient, loyalty points system, frequent special offers
Disadvantages: Some overpriced items
...Boots is a well-known chemist with stores up and down the country. If you don't have one near you, or find it inconvenient, you can buy products from the website at http://www.boots.com.
Boots sell cosmetics, medicines, perfumes, haircare products, even sandwiches, and they are even branching out into areas like Botox, photo-processing, opticians, and laser-eye surgery! I have seen these advertised, but I have not used these services, so I can't comment on them.
I have two stores near me, but I'm concentrating on the Trafford Centre branch for now. It is spread out into two floors - the ground floor deals with photo-processing and baby products, ie: nappies, bottles, etc. The upper floor is dedicated almost entirely to cosmetics, haircare products, etc, with a small section for the food (sandwiches, crisps, drinks, etc...

in the boot!
Advantages: Conveniently located and stocks the esentials
Disadvantages: a bit more expensive then other shops
...In almost every shopping centre and walkway you will find a Boots store.
Quick history lesson:
Boots was established in 1849 by a man named John Boot and his son jesse. The company was sold to an American drug company in the 20's and was sold back to British owners in the 30's. In 1991 Boots bought the company Halfords which sold bicycle, car and camping equipment. Boots later sold Halfords in 2002. The company manufactures its own brand of painkillers, vitamins and other such drugs. Another interesting fact found is that in 2005 Boots was looking into selling sex toys but later abandoned that idea. Would have been interesting popping into your local Boots for some face wash and a vibrator, (*immature giggle*).
In general Boots is a convenient store selling many different items stuff from toothpaste to camera films. Some things can be...
