Boots Travel Calm Tablets

Advantages: Effective in 20 minutes, cheaper than Joy Rides (same stuff), kids can take it
Disadvantages: side effects of the drug, dry mouth and sometimes drowsiness

...These are an effective treatment for travel sickness which my children are plagued with. I give them the recommended dose 20 minutes before the journey and TA-DA ..... no more green children and emergency pulling over! The Boots staff could not have been more helpful in explaining how to use them and did warn of the side effects which are common to all travel sickness medicines. As a result of the type of medicine they all can cause drowsiness and all can cause a dry mouth, but as I had been warned I made sure I had drinks on hand and it wasnt a huge problem. The only thing to bear in mind other than the side effects is that it is a short acting medicine, so if the trip is longer than about 4 hours you will either need to redose or use a longer acting one like Stugeron or Traveleeze instead. Advantages: Strong and well made
Disadvantages: Similar boots are cheaper

...Rhino have again produced a very high quality item. These boots are firm enough to be self supporting, yet flexible enough to mould and bend with the horses legs. They also passed my own 'kick' test. (I.e. put the over your own leg and give yourself a sharp kick in the achilles, ankle and shin.) They are well made and robust, mine are still giving excellent service despite being used several times a week for two years. Not actually sure if they will ever wear out, so a good value for money product for high volume usage. Easy to clean too, just brush off the worst, or sponge and leave to dry. Haven't actually put mine through a washing machine though, but have washed both the insides and outsides separately with good results. I would buy these again....

BOOTS TRAVEL INSURANCE

Advantages: QUICK AND EASY , VERY HELPFULL STAFF

...Last December I was travelling to Barcelona , I attended boots shop to buy a cream and sow that Boots does Travel insurance , so I decided to take up the insurance for my 4 day trip , it costed me £14.99 . I did not thought that it will be a good insurance company at all . In Barcelona my camera boke and I became really ill and had £300 in my bag , during the hospital stay I some how lost that money it was very wierd the way it was lost but because I was half uncontious I did not know if some one took it or I lost it. ..., the first thing I did when I got there was went to Boots to find some sort of motion sickness remedy. Buying the tablets? The first Boots I went to was a small branch, and the only thing they had to cure motion sickness, was the motion sickness bands, but they only had kids ones left. I tried another smaller branch of Boots and found the same thing. I eventually managed to find a box of Boots Travel Calm tablets in the large Boots store on Princes Street. When I actually managed to locate them - near the flight socks - the box was in a plastic case, which had to be taken to the pharmacy counter. Boots sell cosmetics, medicines, perfumes, haircare products, even sandwiches, and they are even branching out into areas like Botox, photo-processing, opticians, and laser-eye surgery! I have seen these advertised, but I have not used these services, so I can't comment on them. I have two stores near me, but I'm concentrating on the Trafford Centre branch for now.
