Our New Washing Machine: It's a Bosch.

Advantages: Quiet and efficient. Good bulid quality

As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost. Quiet and Powerful I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! 2001 Vauxhall Vectra 2.6 24v V6 SRi.

Advantages: Unusually good build quality and reliability from a Vauxhall.
Disadvantages: The wife limits my access.

...Having owned our Vectra Sri for some 2 years now I have to say first and foremost it's been unusual. This is due to the quality of this car when most of my experience with Vauxhall have been costly. The 2.6 V6 SRi is without doubt one of Vauxhalls finest cars, in my opinion. From the outside theres little to give away the potential of the car to the casual motorist. Sure theres the body coloured mouldings and bumpers, 16" twin spoke alloys, slightly lower stance, a square rear Irmscher tailpipe and a tiny badge on the side and rear but all these are normally overlooked. Fantastic! Who wants to scream out to the "modified" brigade and attract unwanted prying eyes? NOT ME! Out on the road the Vectra is a great car. It inspires confidence thanks to it's traction control and huge amount of grip in the corners. It never feels...

Advantages: Outstanding cleaning leaving dishes sparkling
Disadvantages: None

...This is a fantastic dishwasher. I have owned 2 dishwashers previously made by different manufactures and neither could compare to this one. It leaves the dishes spotless every time and I never have to use the rinse facility.I only use the dishwasher, on average, on alternate days,so the food has had time to dry on well!! I have never used any program except the energy saving program and find that it cleans so well that I have never tried any other. One slight downside is the lenght of time the program takes, but this is probably the same with all modern dishwashers. Bosch have and above average reliability rating in any survey conducted so I look forward too many years of trouble free use from this machine....

...a new shredder it would solve at least two existing problems ? clearing all the debris left from my pruning efforts (apart from the big branches that is) and providing a decent dry material for surfacing the walking areas. After a bit of on-line research we settled on the Bosch AXT 2200 Rapid Electric shredder. It was, by no means, the cheapest on offer, but it DID have some very positive customer reviews. It certainly had a lot of attractive features compared to the old one we had. For one thing it is much lighter ? the last one weighed a ton! (A slight exaggeration of course). It also has wheels ? oh joy! No more lugging a three legged monster round the garden before you can start! Disappointing Bosch

...Just bought as a replacement for a 12 year old Wolf mower whose motor died. Have a few Bosch products which are all satisfactory and had read a couple of positive reviews for this model. What I like is the wide cutting width, 6cm bigger, and the large (50 lt) grass box - a bit less walking . Alo the switch, being across the full width of the handle makes it easy to control. What I'm not sure about are the combs, bit gimicky probably, and the suction. My old mower vacuumed the grass, the blade was designed as a propellor, the Bosch removes the cut grass but not all the leaves, etc, that fall. What I don't like is the noise (much, much louder), there's no indication when the grass box is full, and the quality of construction - the plastic feels flimsy, not sure it will last the 12 years of the old. Would I buy it...
