...Well after 2.5 years and many breakdowns i have finally given up on my hoover washing machine and taken delivery of a bosch maxx 1100 spin washing machine. The machine cost me £420 from a local supplier,it is available for only £343 was the cheapest price i found via www.pricerunner.com.I decided to purchase it from a local shop due to their excellent customer service free delivery and they take away the old machine too. The bosch maxx so called i believe due to the fact that it takes a 6kg load rather than the industry average of 5kg. As you probably know for a while now all electrical appliances are rated for their energy efficiency from A-E A being the most efficient and E being the most wasteful.Well the bosch maxx scores A on both energy efficiency and uses very little water per load. Not a Bosch Job

Advantages: larger load, easy to use

...Last month my Zanussi washing machine broke down. The warranty had run out so I had to get a new machine. I didn’t really know what I wanted, but having 2 kids, I knew I needed something reliable. I checked my Which magazine and the report dated May 2001 recommended the Bosch Maxx WFL2450GB, the AEG OKO 72630 and the Samsung Sensor Quick Fuzzy SWFP1005. As the Bosch was rated the best for reliability I decided to make further enquiries about it. I checked a few electrical websites and Currys were offering the best price at £398.95. Maxx it up

Advantages: reliability and ease of use
Disadvantages: none - maybe it should iron the clothes too!

...without causing me any bother. (the only bother I can cope with it the odd sock in with the white load!). In our many conversations Service Man had commented on Bosch. Never have to fix them he said. So Bosch were looking like favourites. Another ?want? was that the clothes must be spun dry (or dry enough for them to be tumble dried at a minimum), so a high spin speed was required. The only ?want? Mr F had was that I didn?t bleed him dry when it came to the price!! After hours of umming and arrrring at Curry?s (and a few no I DON?T need any help THANK YOU), we decided on the Bosch Maxx. Bosch Washing Machine

...As far as washing machines go this is quite a good one. The bosch WFL2872 is easy to use, not very noisey and good at getting your stains out. The control panel is very easy and all options are labelled well and easily readable. It has your normal options like 30,40,60 cottens and linen washes and 60 intensive stain wash. It has a spin speed selector from 600 - 1400 which you change with the diffrent fabrics that you wash. Additional options like quick wash and a rinse plus option which gives the clothes an extra rinse. It has a load adjust function which matches the water and power consumption therefore reducing the amount used which is very eco-friendly and good on the bills. Maxx enjoyment

...The Unique Selling Point of the Bosch Maxx models is their 6 kilo capacity. Most machines can take only about 5 kilos. The difference is stunning - instead of doing say 3 washes you can get away with 2. The program settings are also very versatile - it seems to have an option for every eventuality. It is also a very quiet machine, even in its extremely vigorous 1200 rpm spin cycle. We have only had it for a few months, but according to all the published research, Bosch are one of the most reliable washing machine manufacturers, so hopefully we won't have ant reliability problems either. The clothes all seem to come out pretty clean, particularly from the "intensive stain" cycle - the drawback of this is that it takes an eternity. Anyone considering buying one should be aware that a machine called the Titan is about to be launched...

...You're probably looking at this because, like me, you want to find out if Bosch is just a fashionable name or if their machines really work. Let me tell you. They work - and some. First, it's easy to install. I'm clumsy when it comes to practical things, but it took me about half an hour to get it all plumbed in. Next, it's easy to use. No dials to click to right position. Just set the temperature and press the start button. And then listen... you will enjoy the peace and quiet - even when its spinning. But best of all, it really does wash whiter. My T shirts have been rejuvenated. And now when the kids come back in mud-caked jeans, one wash sorts it all out. Goodbye to all that scrubbing and soaking... Yes, it's a bit pricey. But we managed to save over £100 on high street prices by shopping around in the internet....

Our New Washing Machine: It's a Bosch.

Advantages: Quiet and efficient. Good bulid quality

As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost. Quiet and Powerful I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! But this Bosch brought a smile to my face as my wife said to me, ?it?s spinning, can you hear it?? I could barely discern a faint noise as I listened carefully. I couldn?t resist but go...

Simple Sophisticated and quiet

...came with the customary free samples of powder and conditioner. But also it came with a comprehensive guide. We have a new baby and we really had to get a washing machine that weas easily and quickly installed, easy to learn to use and washed really well and quickly. The Bosch Maxx lives up to all those expectations. I hope it also lives up to the expectation of longevity....
