...Bosch washers aint cheap BUT this washing machine is the best ever washing machine that I've had. It really does clean your clothes well. I bought the Bosch due to the fact that it has an A rating for electricity consumption and for its water consumption - ie it uses less than most washing machines. My bosch has got 15 easy to use programmes, it takes up to 13lbs of washing ( which is about 20% more than most washing machines)the spin speed is 1000 but the clothes come out feeling so dry you would have thought it had a faster spin.It also has a very gentle wash for woolies - that works unlike some washing machines I've used. I've only had my machine for 3 months so I cant say its going to last for ever but a mate has had a bosch for over 3 years and never had a thing go wrong with it. ...To follow on from my opinion on my Bosch washing machine, I turn now to it's partner in grime, the Bosch WTL5500. This was the first time I had bought a standalone tumble dryer, and I was instantly faced with a dilemma - what on earth was a 'condensing' tumble dryer when at home ? A helpful salesman soon explained to me that my washer dryer had effectively been a condensing machine, as I didn't need to worry about large air hoses to vent the warm, damp air. ...When our old washer dryer packed in after around 12years of service, we chose to go for individual washing and drying 'boxes'. Bosch was the make of choice for us - why ? It quickly became apparent from looking at machines in the local shops that there was a clear distinction between budget machines and 'long-life' ones. We wanted a machine that we could rely on, as two young children and an active sporting life leads to a regular supply of fresh washing. My wife can easily wash a load per day. From what we could see, the choices for such a machine were AEG, Bosch or Miele. Bosch seem to provide quality without getting silly about the price, additionally we discovered that (presumably due to the quality being built in) a warranty direct from the manufacturer provided us with 5years of cover for under £20....compare that with what high... Connelly has put together a tight well thought out thriller with an impressive range of characters. The storyline crackles with tension throughout and there are enough twists and turns in the plot to keep the pages turning. In Bosch you have a detective who while not completely out of his depth does have a huge amount to cope with and often feels like he is swimming against the current in the dark. In a high pressure case he has to contend with a failing marriage, the suspicion of his colleagues, leaks to the press and a chief of police intent on putting the right spin on the investigation to appease the public. Bosch is put under pressure to get a quick result but more importantly one that will keep the rioters off the street... Read review

I would definitely recommend this machine but I would also advise looking around the shops first, to make your own assesment. I think it's also a must to get an extended guarantee (5 years) as washing machines tend to wear and tear a lot. Kelkoo (kelkoo.co.uk) is a great site to compare prices on products, if you have not seen this site before 'CHECK IT OUT NOW'. ...I thought I would really miss my old washing machine. When it finally died (at just 3 years old!), we replaced it with this Bosch model, after reading many reviews on the web, and on the recommendation of our local electrical shop man! And I have to say it has been fab! It's really simple to get to know the programs, (all the standard ones are there common to all washers) and it's easy to use - turn the dial one way to select a synthetics program and wash temp, or the other way to select a cottons program. Other programs are located at the bottom of the dial. The instructions ar clear, easy to understand, and helpful. The door opens all the way back so it's easy to load/unload. Although it is simple, and not overloaded with functions that you will never use, it has all the things you would want, eg delicate wash, rinse hold, wash... Read review

...I have used the Bosch WAE28363GB washing machine at work to wash our pupils swimming wear, towels and sometimes their clothes if they have an "accident". I work in a special needs school and do have some soft fabrics in the classroom that I sometime wash too. We have only had this washing machine this term; I have used it a few times. Bosch isr reputedly a good make, I think this is one of the reasons why we got it as we need products that do not break, that will last a long time. I have found this macine easy to use .
