Bosch Bliss....

Advantages: Very Reliable and Very Spacious.Easy To Use
Disadvantages: Possibly too Expensive

...As I am just browsing online just this morning. In the post arrived my Bosch renewal certificate of Insurance for this very machine. The Bosch SGS 43A That means we have had it two years almost to the day. It's been bliss,lovely clean,fresh dishes all the time,with its 3 programmes plus a pre-wash,this is dishwasher simplicity. We have had no problem at all with this superb white Bosch Classix dishwasher,which has been used at least once a day since we bought it. Total Reliability, and so easy to use (and clean) We actually now use it to store all the dirty dishes and saucepans inside through the day and use it late at night. So Easy,So Efficent,So Simple. Hence the kitchen is always neat and tidy,and we come down in the morning to clean dishes every time every day. It's so quiet you hardly notice it is working...

Why use anyone other than Bosch

Advantages: Quiet and quick
Disadvantages: Unhappy delivery team

...Spent all Saturday last weekend looking through the vast amounts of dishwasher the internet has to offer, I was basically after the cheapest dishwash that was AAA rated. This is a scale they use to measure energy efficientcy with A being the most efficient. I use Pricerunner and Kelkoo to find the cheapest and Bosch stood out at me. After having visited my local shop that day and the guy going off about how good the Bosch he had was i thought i'd give it a try, and the fact that Comet had it for £80 cheaper than my local store sold it to me. This dishwasher only cost me £209 + £13.95 for some very unhappy men to come and deliver it to me. Comet do offer a free delivery service but it takes longer and you can't select your delivery slot, they also wont take away your old one with the free service. I got £20 off the dishwasher...

Confessions of a Redundant Househusband

Advantages: Efficient, Economical, Quiet(ish)
Disadvantages: I am now chief floor cleaner! Needs a really effective child lock

The machine we bought, the SGS 43A52, has a retail price of around £300, but we bought ours, legally and with a one year guarantee, from the Comet Auctions website. Here we could buy machines at reduced prices because they had cosmetic scratches on them and little dents. We decided that we wanted dents, as they would match the saucepan marks on my head, and we purchased our machine for around the £160 mark, with £15 for delivery from Scotland. Not bad eh? The machine was duly delivered and plumbing in was reasonably simple- connect the hose to the cold pipe and fit the waste pipe very snugly over the waste pipe bit and tighten up with the jubillee clips provided! No more washing up!

...Our last dishwasher was an Indesit. We'd had it for over 10 years and it had been repaired numerous times. When it decided to play up about a year ago, I called in our local repair man again. He decreed that to repair it would cost almost as much as a new one, (he's a really good guy!) and thus signed its' death warrant. I asked him which make he would recommend: Bosch was his immediate answer. We picked this model mainly because of the price, because it is AAB rated and had all the features we would need. It uses only 14 litres of water for a full wash, so not only is this a bonus for the enviroment in these days of water shortage, we have a water meter so it would benefit us personally. It's a freestanding dishwasher, 60cm w and holding 12 place settings. It has three programmes: normal 65 deg - for a full dirty load...

Our New Washing Machine: It's a Bosch.

As I had owned several Bosch tools and found them incredibly reliable and of good quality, I suggested we go this time for a Bosch and having owned this machine now for around 6 months, it was certainly no mistake. We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost. Quiet and Powerful I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! Bosch those shelves onto that wall with ease

Advantages: Easy to use, several 'power' options for various 'jobs' and good battery time
