We were then told about the 'Bosch WAS' range; 24466 (1200 speed) 28466 (1400 speed) 32466 (1600 speed) ~~~What we chose~~~ We were keen to go for the WAS28466 (1400 speed) we checked out prices and went to our local showroom who were selling it for £485. We had seen it online for £445. We said we were interested and asked what their best price was; they said they could do £459 with delivery and collection of old one. (As we have a van we didn't need this option) and told him that we had found it for £445, to which he grudgingly agreed. Bish Bash Bosch

Advantages: loads of programmes, large wash load, energy rated A, gets even the dirtest clothes clean
Disadvantages: costs a packet

...Many people would consider £434 a bit too much to pay for a washing machine but nothing is too good for my little lady indoors and as she does the majority of the washing what the lady wanted, the lady got even though I cried as I handed over my credit card. I had wanted a washer/dryer combo so that we could have a dishwasher in the space saved but she insisted that a combo was not what she wanted due to past experiences. So, the Bosch it was and the Exxcel WAS28466 was duly delivered and installed with no hassle at all leaving me with a very expensive, large (H842 x W600 x D590mm) front loading washing machine with enough technology and programmes to launch a mission into space. This is no joke, it is so easy to use and has such a range of features even I have mastered the fine art that is loading and using the machine. No mean feat...

Our New Washing Machine: It's a Bosch.

We purchased the Bosch ClassiXX6 1200. We got our machine from Comet, who delivered it the following day and took away our old Hoover at no extra cost. Quiet and Powerful I was amazed at the quietness of the machine as it went through its cycle (Noise level washing (dB): 59, noise level spinning (dB): 79). With our old Hoover machine, I had often had to increase the volume of the TV when the thing went into its spin cycle. Enough said! Maximum Freedom Maximum Performance

...Reviewing our washing machine seems a very appropriate thing to do as it is an integral part of our domestic bliss. When a washing machine breaks down it makes you realise you don?t really want to go back to the ?good old days? when washing was done by hand. When our washing machine broke down and was uneconomical to repair we decided to replace it with a very good one. Bosch is a maker of good, solid and reliable domestic appliances and our trouble free dishwasher is a Bosch. Following the necessary but relatively short discussion period we looked at several machines and several manufacturers before finally settling on the Bosch WAS 32466. This is a large washing machine with a very impressive spin and we have been very pleased with it. It is 84.2 cm x 60 cm x 59 cm (Height x Width x Depth) so should fit under most work surfaces...

...is easy to remove the fluff collection * The time remaining is useful to know * A small load takes less time than a large load, and you see that on the time remaining display after it has started, so the sensor works! * I haven' tried it, but I think a single duvet would fit in it with room to dry Cons: * Bed sheets do crease quite a lot, but I don't class this as a fault with this machine, rather an expectation if you are going to put big bulky items in the dryer I am not listing all of the specifications as they can be found on the Bosch website, but I refer to the performance of the features that I use above. If I don't mention it, I don't use it. I cannot comment on whether it truly is Energy Efficiency rating B as we can't test that....

...a new shredder it would solve at least two existing problems ? clearing all the debris left from my pruning efforts (apart from the big branches that is) and providing a decent dry material for surfacing the walking areas. After a bit of on-line research we settled on the Bosch AXT 2200 Rapid Electric shredder. It was, by no means, the cheapest on offer, but it DID have some very positive customer reviews. It certainly had a lot of attractive features compared to the old one we had. For one thing it is much lighter ? the last one weighed a ton! (A slight exaggeration of course). It also has wheels ? oh joy! No more lugging a three legged monster round the garden before you can start! We bought it from Argos ? unfortunately missing a special offer by a couple of weeks ? but gaining a £10 voucher anyway, so it didn?t make...

Disappointing Bosch

...Just bought as a replacement for a 12 year old Wolf mower whose motor died. Have a few Bosch products which are all satisfactory and had read a couple of positive reviews for this model. What I like is the wide cutting width, 6cm bigger, and the large (50 lt) grass box - a bit less walking . Alo the switch, being across the full width of the handle makes it easy to control. What I'm not sure about are the combs, bit gimicky probably, and the suction. My old mower vacuumed the grass, the blade was designed as a propellor, the Bosch removes the cut grass but not all the leaves, etc, that fall. What I don't like is the noise (much, much louder), there's no indication when the grass box is full, and the quality of construction - the plastic feels flimsy, not sure it will last the 12 years of the old. Would I buy it...
