Bose..... Wow!!!

Advantages: Pure Sound, Great Bass, Suprising Volume!
Disadvantages: None

...I did not expect this level of sound quality from such a small speaker! The Bose SoundDock is a small, compact speaker system for the Ipod range. It has great looks, amzing sound quality and suprising power! There are two different sound docks.. the first one was basically a plug in speaker system just for use with the ipod, perfectly good for anyone who is looking for amazing quality. This one costs £199. The second one they bought out, which i have also got, is the same system apart from it has few extra features. It has a rechargable battery so you can listen to it on the move, it has a carry handle built into the back for ease of transportation, the dock is on a rotating platfrom so it can be made to fit flush to the dock and then open at a touch and then most importantly it has a 3.5mm Aux input that now the user is not limited...

Bose rocks

Advantages: Unbelievable sound Quality
Disadvantages: Expensive

...Before i start this reveiw i want to state that the Bose soundock is an exceptional piece of kit. Before i bought mine i toyed with the idea of a lesser quality and obviously less expensive option but was lucky to hear a freinds unit before i spent any money, needless to say the difference in sound quality is like compareing a honda to a porshe. Personally i'm a convert but i will try to be unbiased. SIZE 6.65" H x 11.91" W x 6.48" D . 16.89 x 30.26 x 16.47 cm . (Basically the speaker face is slighty smaller than an A4 sheet of paper and although it is just over 6" deep, 1.5-2" is taken up by the ipod dock which makes the speaker quite slim) 4.56 lb (2.1 kg) . COLOUR Available in black or white PROS Unbelievable sound. At high volumes there is little or no discernable distortion in the sound so the music is as crystal...

BOSE: Music for the soul

Advantages: Great sound quality, perfet at loud volumes, just in general FANTASTIC
Disadvantages: none so far

...Anything made by BOSE can be trusted. Its sound quality is always at its best, no matter what soundsystem you use from bose, and it's true... you get what you pay for. Jus plug it in and press "ON" and you're set up! IT'S THAT EASY! bose is a big brang name, and everyone expects the best from, and how right they are. The sounddocks simplistic design brings out the best of your mp3 player, making it the whole music experience that much better. For (at most) £300, you are getting exactly what you pay for AND more! The bose soundock has an inate wonder within itself, which brings you to appreciate the minor details embedded into whatever track you are listening to. Its reasonably light weight, comes with an easy to use remote and from there onwards, it really is just you and your music i can easily say that the best thing about...

Bose SoundDock Digital Music System Review

Advantages: Superb Sound, Very Loud, Ideal for Ipods
Disadvantages: not go to travel with, Extremely Expensive

...Bose SoundDock Digital Music System I happened to get this as a gift and it turned out to be quiet interesting Summary: This dock is used mainly for ipod and allows you to connet mp3 players to it and listen to high quality music via speakers. It is idle for homes and small gatherings, although I would not run a party off these. Pros: This system has terrific sound and can go very load despite its relative small size. As with almost all Bose speakers the quality is amazing, so long as the source you are playing it from is high quality it will allow the speakers to each its potential. I have a surround sound Bose set up in one of my rooms but now prefer to use this product as it is very simple to operate. Just plug the mp3 player in and press play and your set. Can't get much simpler. It also runs off a wall...

Review of Bose SoundDock Digital Music System

Not up to usual Bose standard.

Advantages: Easy to use speakers.
Disadvantages: Poor sound quality and quite pricey.

...The Bose Sound Dock.... where to begin.... well I bought this in autumn 2004 to go with my apple ipod. I had great expectations but sadly I was disappointed. The unit looks smart in the usual Bose way but in the areas you need it to excel it just doesn't. Firstly this isn't a cheap speakers solution, so you expect a reasonable quality product from such a specialised manufacturer. I own other Bose products but this one doesn't meet the same standard. In the box you get (as I recall).... the system, a remote control, instructions, power adapter and a selection of ipod adapters. When setting the system up you have a selection of ipod adapters to choose from that sit in the front cradle, allowing you to dock different generation ipods. This is a feature that I liked but the adapters are a fiddle to fit and not easy to swap...

Review of Bose SoundDock Digital Music System

Bose SoundDock is remarkable quality, clear and crisp sound

Advantages: stylish, perfect clarity, long lasting, valuable remote
Disadvantages: none

...In my opinion the Bose sounddock was a great spend. I was looking for a quality product to enable me to listen to my iPod. I shopped around and tried out a few other speakers, e.g. JBL onstage. The Bose sound was remarkable. It was so clear it was unbelievable. I got a surround sound feeling whilst listening to the speakers and there was no sign of the low hum or odd crackle one sometimes finds accompanies certian speakers. I have now had my Bose speakers for a year. One year on and they still look new (the newer model still looks the same) and the sound is still clear and precise. It is very easy to function and from my point of view speakers which come without a remote are an uneccesary hassle, fortunately the Bose Sounddock comes with a very well equipped remote. Not too small to lose it among you things, and not too large to be...

Review of Bose SoundDock Digital Music System

Living the Bose 321 Experience.

Advantages: A hassle-free setup for such high quality audio and video.
Disadvantages: A little on the pricey side, DVD player not multi-region.

...The American Bose Company possesses a fine pedigree, being widely regarded as one of the finest manufacturers of high-quality audio equipment in the world. It was against this backdrop that I purchased the Bose 321 GS Series II System some 12 months ago, and in the main, I have not been disappointed with it. With its stylish design and fashionable brand image, this is definitely one product you would not be ashamed to have under your television. The Bose 321 range is generally available in either a graphite or silver theme, echoed throughout the main system unit, Acoustimass Module (the big sub-woofer box), 2 small satellite speakers and remote control, and is the standard options on most of the accessories. I understand that the system is also available in white, for those with a 'feng Shui' persuasion. So what are...

Review of Bose 3.2.1 GS Series II

I'm glad I chose Bose!

Advantages: Amazing sound quality
Disadvantages: Can only be used with iPod

...I must say I couldn't understand all the fuss when MP3 players appeared on the market - thought they were just the latest gimmick for teenagers. That was until my brother decided it was time to drag me into the 21st century and bought me an iPod for a "landmark " birthday. It didn't take long to covert me to the joys of digital music - I still find it amazing that I can have my entire music collection stored on something hardly bigger than a credit card. But this isn't a review about iPods, it's a review about the amazing Bose SoundDock. There are lots of speakers around for MP3 players covering a huge price range. I didn't want a cheap tinny sound, but am always a bit wary about spending a lot of money on electronic goods - how much are you paying for the quality of the item and how much for the hype of the name? My brother has...

Blackadder series 2

Advantages: VERY FUNNY
Disadvantages: NOTHING

...Black Adder. Here we again follow Rowan Atkinson who is simply superb and I hope you get a sense of my enjoyment from the following review of the second series Black Adder ran for 4 series but this review is about just the second. The second series was set in the 16th century and follows Black Adder as he sucks up to queen bess and nearly, on several occassions, loses his head. He and his manservant, the wonderfully dopey Baldrick set out to grab as much power as he can. If he can survive the treacherous court goings on and if he can survive Baldricks attempts to "help" him! Series 2 ----------- 1.Bells 2. Head 3. Potato 4. Money 5. Beer 6. Chains The combined writing skills of Curtis, Ben Elton and Rowan Atkinson is simply sensational. The comedy and witty lines come thick and fast. It is...

Review of Blackadder - Blackadder II - Series 2 (DVD)

Extras - Series 2

Advantages: Genius comedy
Disadvantages: Disadvantages?!

...Well?I've done The Office Series 1, 2 and Xmas Special. I've done Extras series 1. I've dried up on Gervais/Merchant sitcoms?that is until last Monday, when the 'critically acclaimed' second series of Extras arrived in our shop windows. Any good though? You bet! Series one saw Gervais manage to get the likes of Samuel L. Jackson, Ben Stiller, Patrick Stewart, Kate Winslet and of course Les Dennis to appear in a comedy about an television extra, Andy Millman (played by Gervais) who's a desperate man, doing whatever it takes to get himself noticed. At the end of the series, he'd successfully written a script about a workplace with an annoying boss (yes?the link with the Office is apparent) that the BBC had commissioned. Now we needed to know whether or not it would be any good? With things looking to be on the up, they're instantly...
