...I have been using this Eau de Toilette for about five years now. My wife really likes it and no matter what other after shaves I buy I always go back to Hugo Boss Bottled. I feel that it's not to strong and it does smell like proper men's after shave. Many of the new men's fragrances can smell more and more like perfume. It has a crisp sweet smell and I think it's quite refreshing. I know this description is really bad so this is how the Hugo Boss website describes it: "Boss No. 6 Cologne by Hugo Boss, Launched by the design house of boss in 1999. Its fragrant nature explores essences of fern, bergamot and pineapple. Blended with notes of lavender,â juniper and geranium, boss # 6 is a casual type of fragrance." Feeling Fruity with Hugo Boss (Deep Red)

Advantages: Long lasting smell, not too overpowering
Disadvantages: Becoming increasingly popular, therefore you wont be the only one wearing it!

...I have to admit I am a very big fan of Hugo Boss perfumes in general, and this one is no different - I absolutely love it. ~~Packaging~~ The packaging is a simple yet distinct design which can automatically be attached and associated with the Hugo Boss range. This one comes in a lovely dark red frosted glass with a silver lid. The lid is easily pulled off to find the usual ?squirt? button found on most perfumes. The wording on the bottle is simple and minimalist in a silver writing. Whilst the bottle isn?t clear, when held up to light you can clearly see how much perfume is left, without it coming as a complete shock when it is no longer coming out the bottle! The bottle, like most perfumes, comes with outer packaging. In this case the outer packaging is a small cardboard box again following the general colour theme...

Hugo Boss, Always in motion

...With so many fragrances out there some of the more unusual shaped bottles can lose ground to other more normal looking bottles of fragrances. One such fragrance that has bucked that trend is Boss in Motion by Hugo Boss It was released in 2002. The only others that look similar that I can think of are from the likes of DKNY and Bvlgari. As you can see from the bottle it is a round design whereas most bottles are upright It also has a rather different spray design than the normal eau de toilette bottles. This design means that it can take a few seconds longer to get enough spray out. I prefer the normal style of bottle but this doesnt really affect the outcome. The smell is really quite lovely and is a spicy woody fragrance which also has a sweet smell. There's hints of Bergamot Oil, Basil Flower Violet Leaves Pink Pepper...

...I was given a bottle of Hugo Boss Deep Red as a gift. Not a perfume I would have necessarily bought myself on first sniff, the more I have used this scent, the more that I have grown to love it! An instantly recognisable scent, it is fruity yet also floral and woody. Not comparable to any other perfume that I have tested. It is also a very feminine scent (I find alot of perfumes to be verging on the unisex side so this was good for me) The perfume contains pear, clementine, lily and vanilla. I think it is also a very versatile perfume that can be worn anytime, equally suitable for daytime wear or for a night out on the tiles. The fragrance also lasts quite a while, I would say a good few hours before a fresh spray is required. Also, only a couple of sprays are required per application, so a bottle lasts quite a while. ...It's that time of the year again. You know, when everyone drowns in a sea of unwanted fragrances and aftershaves. Fox ache, I have so many unused bottles of 'smellies' kicking around I could liberally bathe in the stuff...liberally, but not literally. In fact, I have more bottles of aftershave than faces to shave... It's not really surprising, as these things make easy gifts. But what is surprising, is that my son is in almost the same position regarding unwanted aftershave. Why surprising? Because he bears more resemblance to Robinson Crusoe or Wurzel Gummidge than a clean-cut, clean-shaven, matinee idol (like yours truly!). Boss of Bosses

...I bought my first bottle of Hugo Boss in Debenhams a few years ago and I have never been disapointed. I have just finished a bottle of Hugo Boss Blue, I got it with points I collected. It comes in a blue bottle which is attractive and robust, the plastic nozzel for the spray is not as hard but does the job. THe scent is spicy but the main feature of it is the length it lasts. THis stuff goes all day. I used it in the morning and it gave my confidence a big boost. It is good to still smell fresh after 12 hours. I replaced it with the Boss red just for a change but it does not seem to last as long. THere are about 5 scents in the Boss range but they are all similar, some are just milder or stronger although they retain the same distinctive scent. THey also have matching eau de toilette scents which cost slightly less. Pay about £34...
