My family had always kept Bull Terriers and if you have read my review on Bull Terriers you will know about Bert. Imagine my surprise therefore when after Bert departed my Mum was bought a bitch from a breed I had not heard of - Miniature English Bull Terrier. History Fans of Bull Terriers will know the breed came about from the mixing of several breeds (including the now extinct White English Terrier, the Bulldog and allegedly Dalamation) and this resulted in avariety of shapes and sizes. ...my family has been raising and breeding bull terriers for a good 10 years now, and oh boy, has it been fun. many say that this breed should be extinguished, like its fellow breeds pitt bull and american pitt bull terriers, but i say that's a load of dung. i have never met a person who has actually been in contact and hung out with a bull terrier who shares that nasty opinion. i guess hatred towards bull terriers is similar to racism: unfamiliar things scare people and can lead to negativity. it is true that the breed was created for dog fights in the beginning, but it has come a long way from its aggressive and brutal ancestors. the few things modern day bull terriers have in common with their ancestors are the aerodynamic egg-shaped head with beady eyes, sturdy and muscular body, and corageous, yet a bit wacky personality. like... ...Boston aquarium is a very fun day out, it is the aquarium where andrai (like in the film) lived. It is expecially good if you have small children, however probably not quite as good for moody teenagers. The exebitions are very interesting and there are shows E.g. Feeding the sharks, The Walrus Show, the coral reef show. The shows are scheguald quite frequently so if you miss one its not long till another. Also the aquarium is very near the centre of Boston, so you can take a look around the other attractions, including the Science Museum(which there is also an opinion on). If its your last day in Boston and you are getting a plane out, it is also easy to see the aquarium in half a day and make it in time for your flight easily, the aquarium haas an asortment of restarants, so you dont have to worry about food.... ...My Cairn Terrier…..She’s Called Holly… My wife was looking for a cairn terrier for months and just about February of this year we spotted a pup for sale. It was about 30 miles away from where we lived but rather than listen to the wife moaning I decided to give it a ring. There was 3 left but only one was a bitch so we told them to keep it over and that we were on our way. When we got there we were lead out to a huge farmhouse and there was our little Cairn terrier pup. My wife was all over it and I knew then that I was either going to be the worst in the world or be a lot off money down..Why are these pups so expensive, would someone tell me! ...Last summer, well in terms of years because we all know about Britain's weather, was really special as i took a trip to the states and visited New England taking the lovely city of Boston. I stayed in a hotel on the very edge of the centre, very close to the two biggest buildings in MAS. The Prudential Tower and The John Hancock Building. A trip to the top during the day and at night is most reccommended as you get to thw hole of Boston if the whether is fine. The centre of Boston is brilliant, with shopping areas, bars, restaurants and cafes as well as quincy market, a food court lasting the length of the old building with multi-cultural food on offer. Also the transport into the centre as from where i was staying you could walk, or take an all-day troley bus which could be picked at the many stops, as well as this the MTA provides... Read review

...when I lost my beloved miniature Schnauzer the house felt completely empty . I had been used to having a dog in the house all my life and it was awful , no welcome on arriving home and nobody to snuggle up to in the evenings. I have always been drawn to dogs with what I call "square " faces - ie Schnauzers, Airedales , Kerry Blues etc and remembered seeing some three years earlier a display at Crufts of Welsh Terriers and thinking how much I liked them So - the seed was now sown in my head - I was going to get myself a Welsh Terrier , only problem now was where to find one ! Living in Aberdeen I discovered there were not many breeders in the area ( or indeed Scotland ) but set about calling a breeder that lived about 30 miles away , I had found his details on the Kennel Club website .
