Bouganvilla The place to go

Advantages: great place for families
Disadvantages: quite far away from beach (40 mins walk approx)

...Are you looking for somewhere to go on holiday? Do you want to go somewhere the kids will enjoy? Do you want to give them a holiday of a lifetime? Do you want to go somewhere that will be entertaining for you as well as the children? If your answer is yes to any of the above questions then read on. If I had to recommend anyway to take children on holiday it would be Majorca. To be more specific it would be Bouganvilla Park in SA Coma. I went there for five years in a row in between 1993 and 1997 and I really liked the place. The first time I went I was only 13. My parents chose the destination as it had a really big swimming pool and an endless list of activities for teenagers to do. Also we were going with my cousin who was only 3 at the time. We went in May so it was convenient as we would only miss a week of school...

Butlins in the sun!

Advantages: Plenty to do, good entertainment, great for children
Disadvantages: Some shabby accommodation, expensive supermarket

...Firstly I must say that I booked this very last minute when there wasn't much more around, and after reading a lot of very mixed reviews, I decided that we would just put our heads down and go for it, and even though we got off to a bad start, I am relatively glad that we did. The Bouganvilla Aparthotel is situated on the East coast of Mallorca in Sa Coma. There is a 1 hour transfer from Palma Airport (1hr 45 mins if the coach drops off along the way), but we took this as an opportunity to sit back see a bit of the Island. On arrival, our check in was very simple. Review of Hotetur Bouganvilla Apartments, Sa Coma

fab hotel..disgusted with the reps!

Advantages: fab hotel,fab pools,fab beach,fab price.
Disadvantages: the airtours staff,rude, arrogant.

...well we stayed at the bouganvilla for 2 weeks. 9th to 23rd june 2007. we paid £550 through mytravel(airtours) last minute.some sites are selling the same hol for as much as £1600! thats for 2 weeks, 2 adults and a 2 year old child. what a bargain. that included flights, transfers, meals on plane..but we were self catering. how cheap though. when i was an airtours holiday rep i did my training here so i couldnt wait to get back. we usually go for lively resorts when we go on holiday but felt we should go here as it would be best for our little man. its on the east coast of majorca in a little town called sa coma, near cala millor,cala bona and porto cristo. the resort is lovely and right on the beach, lots of shops, bars, restaurants, very catered for he british aswell, although theres lots of german and dutch people there. out...

Review of Hotetur Bouganvilla Apartments, Sa Coma

Bouganvila Park - Enjoyable

Advantages: Lots of things to do in a nice location
Disadvantages: Fairly long distance to the town/sea

...and bouganvilla operate and free shuttle bus down to the beach and town. The beach is well worth a visit and wiht big waves on some days provides a perfect place for bodyboarding. The local shops provide you wiht adequate supplies to make your own meals and also if you want to nip down to the local shop from the apartments after the buses stop you can just go down the road as there is one 10 minutes away. Night life The night life at the apartments is very good as they provide shows in the "big top" free of charge this can be everything from magic shows, circus acta to singing. also after that sometimes there is adult entertainment. Before for thje little ones there is amini disco and prize presentation. You can escape the resort and travel down to the beach and find a nice restuarant depending on how you fell and what you want as there are...

brilliant for families.

Advantages: great place for families.
Disadvantages: not too much to see.

...My friends and i were asked to go on a holiday to majorca by our friends nan, which she highly recommended, so we obliged. It cost us £555 each! we went to a place called Sa Coma, and we stayed in a hotel called the Club Bouganvilla, Which was a great big faamily complex which was strictly English. Great complex but it was a shame about the nightlife. The best thing about that holiday was actually nothing to do with sa coma, it was in Magaluf that we enjoyed our best night, in a highly popular show known as pirates. Amazing. In sa coma there is a lovely stretch of beaches and the people are really nice. But i must emphasise that this place really is best of for families and not for a gang of lads!...
