Advantages: Great story, performances and screenplay
Disadvantages: Erm... genuinely trying to think here... not enough action? Basically none.

...When I bought Sunset Boulevard (or is it Sunset Blvd.? I still don't know) I didn't really know much about it, other than that it was a "classic" and that the average rating from the staff of IMDb is 9.5/10, and that's good in anyone's books. It tells the story of Joe Gillis (played by William Holden), a screenwriter who's a bit down on his luck. His latest film idea isn't too popular, and there are a couple of debt guys on his back, looking to take away his car. ...Beloved- Great section but doesn?t seem to fit in like the rest of the song does! This bit seems like it should be part of a Christmas song! v. Tales of another broken home- Most drawn out section but a fantastic end to a good song but very long!! The total time for this song is 9:08! But still good! Holiday- One of the best songs on the album (Greendays most recent single). Its one of those songs where if you here it once you'll be singing it or humming it for the rest of the day! Very memorable and good song that you'll remember for a long time. Boulevard of broken dreams- THE BEST SONG ON THE ALBUM!! You could probably listen to it over and over again and not get fed up with it. Every element of the song is timed perfectly and the end result is a great and 'classic' song. Why Stripping Is So Tiring!!!

Advantages: Lots to see and do without spending too much cash.
Disadvantages: The heat and crowds made it tiring.

Other places we wanted to visit though meant that this glitzy town was on the way and we felt we had to take it in for a couple of days so decided to book into The Mirage, which is quite a luxurious hotel right in the middle of The Strip. Hollywood Boulevard - The Stars!

Advantages: Touristy, Hollywood legends, a must do when you are in LA
Disadvantages: Dirty area, not glitzy at all

...So, I think everyone who visits Los Angeles should be told before they go that Hollywood, and in particular Hollywood Boulevard, is not this rich, beautiful, fancy place that everyone thinks it is, then they will not be disappointed when they get there. I am America but now live in England and it is quite funny to hear people's perception of area. If you are there purly to see the hand prints it is a great touristy site. Manns Chinese theatre is very old Hollywood and if you can, go see a movie there because the screen is massive and it's really a fun experience, reminiscent of "Old Hollywood". Next door, Hollywood and Highland is a newish complex with some luxury shops that was built to include the new theatre for the Oscars. If you walk up the steps to teh viewing platform you get one of the best views of the Hollywood sign in all...

...'Twas my birthday on Tuesday and so this Thursday I gathered my friends up for a jolly good knees-up. A few cancellations later, I still managed to drum up a group of six of us ladies from all areas of the South East to join me, from Southampton, Bracknell, Milton Keynes and Essex, here we were at the Boulevard Brasserie, Covent Garden. Gloria Swanson plays the eccentric Norma Desmond and delivers an outstanding performance with some of the most memorable lines in film history. Surprisingly good value holiday accomodation

Advantages: Great value, comfortable, relatively spacious
