...Brabantia Kitchen Bin I've longed for one of these pedal bins for ages, years in fact. One of those big, shiny metal pedal bins, the sort you see in kitchen adverts. But I've always talked myself out of buying one, and making do. My reason to hold back on said product, the price, which at between £40 and £50, has always seemed a lot of money to spend on a bin. ...When I saw a category for these bins, I had to write to tell everyone about the fantastic customer service I have had from this company. We've got an 80 litre stainless steel Brabantia kitchen bin with a lid that pops up when you nudge it - very useful indeed when you have your hands full and want to put something mucky in without getting the bin itself all messy - a quick nudge with your elbow is all you need and it pops open. It's very smart, doesn't need emptying too often and keeps the smells in. You can even get specially designed binbags with strong ties and a wide, reinforced edge that exactly fits the size of your bin. These are super-easy to fit and mean that you don't spoil the look of your bin with a scruffy old bin bag sticking out round the edge. Brabantia Bread Bin....Nice little bread bin, but sharp edges.

Advantages: small and tidy, looks good on kitchen side.
Disadvantages: slightly on the small side if your loaf of breads are large, sharp edges

...i bought this bread bin a year or so ago now and its very durable, although you can only fit one loaf of bread in it and if its a large loaf the sliding door can catch it and squash it slightly. also the other day i found out its quite sharp inside...i put my hand in to get some biscuits out that where in it and caught the edge and cut my finger quite bad. so i wouldnt recommend it for small children to use..... It looks nice and tidy on the kitchen side and does not take up alot of room, ok for someone who does not eat alot of bread, single person/couple....not much use too a big family. overall its and ok bread bin....

A combination of living in a first floor flat and being heart lazy made bin emptying one of my most hated chores. Hey I've "Bin" and Bought One!

Advantages: Good solid sturdy bin
Disadvantages: None

...Main thing I can say about this bin is an excellent, attractive, smart looking bin! My poor old bin had to face the gutting and rebuilding of my kitchen. It got splattered with paint, artex and glue. Had its lit cracked and to top that three cats persistantly sniffing round it for the chicken bones! Being made of cheap plastic it didn't really stand a chance, it was easy to knock over and so the cats had a field day which, I found annoying every morning when I had a kitchen floor to wash and rubbish everywhere before I could proceed to do anything else! The bin had to go! I searched online on the Argos web site and came accross the make Brabantia. These are a well known leading brand in Europe and based somewhere in the Netherlands. Review of Brabantia Soft Touch Bin 40 Litre

Great bin, terrible lid.

Advantages: Looks great. Large capacity. No need for pedal. Amazing customer service.
Disadvantages: Weak lid that's bound to break.

...I bought a Brabantia 50 litre bin with a lid that you just press to open and shut for the kitchen which is so much more convenient than a pedal. The capacity is big enough so you only need to empty it on bin day. The bin has it's own branded liners. I have come back to using them now because they are cheaper now and fit neatly in the bin and when you lift the liner out the rubbish doesn't collapse into the empty gaps of generic liners that don't quite fit properly. The one big problem with the bin is the lid. Everyone I know who has one has had the clip broken. I love the convenience of the lid but you can see that it's bound to break. The hinges are weak too and these broke too within a year. However, I emailed Brabantia about the broken lid and within an hour I got a response telling me that they would mail me a complate new...

...Following a makeover on our kitchen we lost the handy little under-cupboard space that used to house our bin. So browsing the Internet we came across the Brabantia range and as my mum-in-law had one in her kitchen I knew they were good quality. ...TY Beanies are adorable, there is no wonder my friends and I were cray for these little soft toys! The TY beanies came in all sorts of varieties, whether animal or bear. They each had their own special name, and between us, my friends and I owned and could name pretty much every one going! One of the teddies is a bear, though not in the TY Beanie Bears option. He is actually an animal bear as opposed to a teddy bear. This little bear is called Almond, because of his pale beige like colourings I can only imagine.
