More games for the brain!

Advantages: Keeps your best score and tests you on different aspects of intelligence.
Disadvantages: Not sure how to play it with other ds users yet.

...I bought this game about a month after I bought Dr Kawashima's Brain Training. I love both games. While the "Brain Training" graphics make it perhaps more appealing to adults, the "Brain Academy" seems a lot more appealing for children. However this is still a fantastic game for adults. One of the main features I love about the Brain Academy (compared to Brain Training) is that your best score is always saved! This means I am quite happy to test myself on a regular basis as I know that if I don't perform as well as my last test I will not lose my best mark! When I turned the game on I went to the "Test" straight away to check what my brain was like before any practice! I got D+ (I think D is the lowest grade you can get)! One of the best brain training games for the DS

Advantages: the stress challenge definitely. something completely different.
Disadvantages: games can get a little repetitive but no more so than other brain games

...Personally I think this is one of the best brain training style games around. As per all the other brain training games there are categories - maths, memory, visual, focus and logic. Each category has different games, and you can unlock more games as you go along. Each game also have different levels (easy, hard etc) so you can try the game out then challenge yourself more once you've got a good score on an easier level. The games are also different to the standard brain games on the Dr. Kawashima games. You can get which item weighs the most when put on a scale with other items, spot the difference (yes spot the difference!), copying patterns into a mirror image, retracing a path after you've been shown it (harder than it sounds), and instead of a brain age you see what percentage of your brain you are using going up. Mario & Sonic at the Winter Olympic Games (Wii) is an 'ok' game.

Advantages: Lots of sports, can play with balance board, ability to play with a mii, dream events are fun.
Disadvantages: No real story, Balance Board controls poorly on most mini-games, might get boring quickly.
