...I have tried a few electric toothbrushes in my time and there is no doubt that the early models left much....no...everything to be desired. If they did not break down or fall to pieces they failed to make much much imoact on my teeth. Frankly they did not last long for either reason. Last Christmas I was tempted by a special offer and purchased a Braun. In fact I purchased two. One large and one small. I have found both to be extremely good and there is no doubt that they have improved by many a mile. The only complaint I have is that replacement brushes cost far more than they need to or should and, if Braun lose sales through this they only have themselves to blame.... Read review

...I recently purchased the Braun Cruzer 3 Shaver I bought it for £55 and I will now detail my experience with it aswell as providing all the need to know information. The Braun Cruzer 3 is a battery or mains operated shaver for men. It is blue and black in colour and looks neat and modern. The Braun Cruzer 3 is a single foil shaver with Brauns smart foil design and a multi directional floating head. The shaver also has a dual precision styler and a detachable beard trimmer. I am impressed with this shaver and have found it gives a really nice smooth shave without the risk of cuts. The dual precision styler is perfect for those hard to reach places and is also good if like I have in the past you want to define certain hair lines. ...Three months ago I went for a dental check-up and clean-up which then led to a session with the hygienist. After discussing how I manually brush my teeth, it was pointed out to me that my gums were in danger of receeding due to my over-zealous brushing technique! In addition, I wasn't doing a thorough job of removing plaque. I was advised to consider an electric toothbrush and after a practical demonstration I decided to try one - thinking it would be more fun than help! Which One? ...It seems to be the case that, like hair dryers, irons are almost disposable items. In the last 5 years we have had three irons which seem to have failed. It is not as though we have a particularly large amount of ironing to do but it does seem as though they wear out or just stop with some regularity. The Braun ProGlide Jet has been the latest to give up on us. It performed well enough for a time. It has a powerful 1800watt motor and heated up quickly. It was well shaped though perhaps a little slim for a larger hand. The Braun has a good sized ironing plate and ran over most materials very well. I don’t know whether you have ever looked inside an iron but the is very little in there. It is effectively just a heating element and a structure of metals which control the heat onto the non-slip surface of the soleplate. This begs... Read review

...Not a very exciting Christmas present I thought when I opened my new Braun Electric Toothbrush. When I actually plucked up the courage to put this incredibly fast whirly thing in my mouth, i was surprised how nice it made my teeth feel. The timer on it tells you when you have reached the recommended 2 minutes brushing (which feels like eternity)and you only need half as much toothpaste as what is required on a normal toothbrush. ...I have now used a braun electric toothbrush for 5 years and in that time I have NEVER had to have my teeth 'scraped' by the dentist. This in itself is an advantage! It was in fact my dentist who reccomended this particlar toothbrush to the family - he stated clearly thet it was the only one (at the time) reccomended by dentists, so despite the cost my mother went out & purchased one. Since then three of her five children have left home (myself included) and the other two are at university and we all have our own braun electric toothbrush - need I say more? I am now waiting to try the new 3D version but I must wait for my own one to break first! Maybe in the future????... Read review

...Lilian Jackson Braun is an author I have reviewed on ciao before. She writes detective stories usually, about the character of Jim Quilleran and his cats. But this book 'The Cat Who Had Fourteen Tales' is something a little different. It is a collection of short stories, all featuring cats. I am not usually a fan of short stories, finding them insufficient to interest me. But Lilian Jackson Braun's collection is excellent. It is well constructed, the stories are all different - mysteries, a ghost story, some written as though they are samples of oral history and so on. I enjoyed this so much that I have now recommended it to my ten year old daughter to read. It is suitable for children too, as it contains no swearing, only minor violence and no sexual content.... ...this shaver has produced some good results for what it its worth. i bought this product as my previous shaver had broken. i was supprised by the results and would reccomend it to anyone considering buying it. as you know it is a braun a very relaiable brand name in the health/cosmetics world, the shaver head is smooth and glides accross the skin easily creating a very sleek feel, it comes with a tool kit to keep it clean and tidy along with a charging plug. the optional trimmer is pretty effective but it seriously drains battery life so i dont tend to use it that often. as i have said i would recommend this prduct to anyone as i have found it is one of the best shavers around for under £60. a good buy !... ...I bought this product 18 months ago and since then I feel I have a cleaner and fressher set of teeth. When I have had to go back to using a manual toothbrush, my teeth just do not feel clean at all - and even a non 3D electric toothbrush did not feel as though it was doing as good a job. Having said all this, about 2 months ago my trusty Braun 3 D stopped working properly. I contacted Braun who told me that because I was only charging the toothbrush when it ran down and not leaving it on the charger in between use, that the battery was in effect dying more quickly than it should. They were kind enough to send me a free replacement brushing unit (even though it broke after the 1 warranty had expired) Excellent customer service!!... Read review

...What a pleasure to have a cup of hot coffee when you woke up. It's great. And certainly most of us use coffee machine. It should be a reliable machine because we need coffee everyday and may be even several times. My choice is Braun KF550. When i get up in the morning i know for sure that will get 2 litres of fine hot coffee in a few minutes. It is really easy to use it. Everything you need is to pour some water and it's going to be ready. Perfect water filter makes a smooth taste in every drink. It is so good. Ofcourse there are a lot of other machines but i prefer Braun. There wasn't a day when i didn't have my sweet hot tasty coffee from KF550. You must be careful with glass jug cause it's simple to break it down. Use a timer to know exactly when your coffee is ready. I'm sure that a price of this machine is not higher then its...
