...One day soon, I will be in a position to write my autobiography, based on the Braun shavers that I have owned and used during my lifetime. I have kept them all, though I have discovered no reason for doing so and no useful purpose for them either.! - it is just a sad reflection on the hoarding tendencies of the Badger clan.! Braun Shaver - 9595

Advantages: LCD Panel - Sonic Pulsing - fast clean option - lifts problem hairs
Disadvantages: cartridge is good for approx. 30 cleaning cycles - cutter and foil in one complete head

...I was looking for a good shaver that does the job right, with a smooth and fast shave. After searching around for some time I found this excellent design product from Braun. This is without doubt the best Braun shaver to date. The combination of the new head, foil and cutter assembly has made this shaver the one to beat. Advantages: Ultimate reassurance, high accuracy, so simple to use
Disadvantages: A bit pricey

...with the cheaper models so we had a trawl around and found the Braun Thermoscan on special offer on the Boots website. Normally retailing at just under 40 pounds, we managed to pick it up for just under 30pounds, a real bargain. It really is so simple, switch it on, wait for 3 digital lines to appear, press the button, put it in her ear and within 2 seconds it beeps to tell you the temperture has been recorded. Thats it!! Simplicity. Now of course I then check time and time again just to be sure, and it pretty much comes up with the same temperature each time so I feel quite confident about its accuracy. It comes with disposable earpieces so as not to spread any infection, very clear directions, and its own case for easy storage. Braun Epilator

Advantages: Lots of accessories, good instructions, excellent range of features
Disadvantages: none specific to the product itself, several to the process of epilating

...I bought this product to replace an older version from a different manufacturer that I have had for about five years. I moved from North America to the UK and my old epilator wasn't dual voltage, so buying a new one was easier than the variety of adaptors and step down devices I would have had to find to keep using the old one. Because I've been epilating so long, its hard for me to comment on the pain level of the Braun vs any other epilator as I really don't get much pain from the process anymore. At first it does hurt when you use it, but in my experience your skin gets accustomed, your hair roots get weaker, and the whole process gets quicker and easier. Quite a few of my hairs on my legs just don't grow in anymore. I do find my Braun to be much more efficent than my previous model, which I believe was a Remington. The Braun...

Braun 4775 - Not Cheap - But Quality.

Advantages: Efficient shaving, smooth shave, reliability
Disadvantages: Skin needs time to adjust - as with all electric shaving
