I have been using this toothbrush for a few years now and I am really very happy with the results and the performance of the toothbrush itself, which is why I thought I would write a review of it. I had this toothbrush bought for me as a Christmas present a couple of years ago but I have since bought one for my partner and that cost me nearly 25 quid coming in at £24.99pence. They are often on special offers and they can be found cheaper on the Internet I do believe. ...having previously purchased a braun electric toothbrush before i was more than happy to stay faithfull to the braun brand, i found this toothbrush very good and felt as though i had had a trip to the dentist when i first used it! also very strong which is really important simply because of the daily use it receives. The replacement brush heads are also very reasonable when you compare them to the other toothbrushes that are available: Overall this is a good purchase if your looking for something more than your average and to be sure of a good clean, i would be happy to reccomend this to my friends if they was looking to purchase an electric toothbrush, sometimes to decide on electrical appliances can prove to be tricky at times but this would be the most simple of decisions, in my opinion....

Braun Oral-B Pro White Brush Heads

...better I am not sure but wither way I am very impressed. The difference in the standard brush head and this new PRO design is the fact that the few middle brushes that the old head held in the centre have been removed and replaced by a yellow rubber type centre which is said to polish and buff the teeth to bring through the natural whiteness. The head pretty much looks the same with the same colourings of the turquoise bristles and the white bristles although I think they have shaped the PRO brush head slightly different meaning it really attacks each tooth with an enclosed bristle actions. The main difference of course is this rubber centre which to be honest I was fairly apprehensive of because it doesn?t really look as comfortable to use as the old design does. ...pulsates every 30 seconds to give you indication on how long you've been brushing for. The idea is you do the top left for 30 seconds, to right for 30 seconds, bottom left for 30 then bottom right for 30... a total of 2 minutes. It comes with a docking station with a back compartment to store the additional toothbrush heads, also the rechargeable base can be integrated in to the docking station fairly easy once reading the instructions. One disadvantage is that my husbands toothbrush (which is one of the other normal models) doesn't fit this charger so we now have to have 2 different chargers. I would recommend this toothbrush to anyone who has had electric brushes before or someone who has decided to make the switch....

Oral B Vitality Precision Clean Toothbrush

Advantages: Gets rid of more plaque
Disadvantages: Replacement heads need to be bought, needs shaver plug as it has 2 pin

...I was recommended by my dentist to use an electric toothbrush as I had some bleeding of the gums and these get rid of more plaque than brushing manually. If this goes unchecked it can lead to lots of other nasty diseases as the bacteria that breeds in the space where the gums recede following the bleeding can enter the body and cause heart problems. Amongst other things. It is a well known fact that healthy gums mean longer life. The Oral B Vitality was my choice purely because of price. It is currently half price at £14.67 and a pack of 4 replacement heads is £8.99. I bought mine from Boots on a double points weekend so that was good. ...Having visited my dentist recently, she recommended I try an Oral B electric toothbrush, as I have some gum problems, and need to keep my teeth and gums really clean. The RRP for this toothbrush is around £45 in the shops at the moment, but I got mine for £22 on Ebay! I've not used an electric brush before and I must say it was quite different to a normal manual toothbrush. I'm used to scrubbing away, but you just guide the brushhead slowly along each tooth! It takes a while get used to the vibrations, and don't forget to put the brush in your mouth before switching it on, otherwise the toothpaste slides off straight down the plug hole! It gives a signal every 30 seconds so you can divide your 2 minutes recommended brushing time on all areas of your teeth. Apparently it pulsates (moves in and out) 40,000 times a minute to loosen...
