...I do like my Tassimo - thats beyond a doubt. It makes perfectly acceptable coffee quickly and easily. It looks stylish in the kitchen. However, I have found that unless you add extra hot water to the drinks, which obviously weakens them, the drinks are at best luke warm and this includes the expresso pods. Also, the pods are expensive as has been previously commented upon. They are more widely available now which is a relief as at one point I did have problems getting hold of them. The machine requires frequent cleaning and I do find it rather tricky to clean all of the mechanism parts. I would recommend this machine to someone who is looking for an inexpensive coffee machine that makes decent, acceptable coffeee. However, if you love good coffee and are a bit of a coffee snob, steer clear and spend more on a machine.... Read review

Who would have thunk that my new gadget the Braun "Tassimo" could replace my kettle, teabags and assortment of instant coffees. Yet this is precisely what the Tassimo has done. Now the Tassimo is undoubtedly a smart piece of kit. My sleek black machine nestles comfortably in the corner of our teeny tiny kitchen and takes up surprisingly little space. ...I couldn't disagree more with the previous review of the Tassimo. I've had mine for several weeks and it works great. I purchased it for $169 (US). It came with two packages of T-disks (Gevalia coffee and Earl Grey Tea - both excellent). I also purchased a package of latte (the package comes with one espresso and one milk T-disk). If you want espresso or latte at home, and you simply don't have room or can't afford a high-end machine, I highly recommend this. It's very compact, neat and tidy (have you ever tried running a traditional espresso machine - what a mess!), fast, and makes great products, from regular coffee to tea to hot chocolate. The machine reads the bar code on the T-disk and knows how hot to make the water, how much pressure to apply (especially for good crema), and how much water to push through. It's true... Read review

...I love my coffee and specially prefer the dark percolated coffee in coffee shops, the aroma and taste you could say I’m a coffee addict. Aside its wake up benefits and my liking for coffee, it is quite hard to replicate that professional coffee shop taste or the expensive coffee purclater taste. I believe the Braun Tassimo is great idea although this may die a death and be reborn and redesigned. The Tassimo I bought was £100 pounds from Tesco, a new product pushed on TV adverts and as it is a good, very good idea. The coffee machine is a new design quite and small for what it does it is silver and black but can now be bought in all black. ...and waiting to be used. My son pops in a pod when he gets up, gets ready for work, pushes the button and hey presto his coffee is made....no fuss. The pods can be bought in good supermarkets, but I find a bigger range of drinks is available from Tassimo online. They have several types of coffee / tea - Breakfast tea and earl grey / hot chocolate / and several herbal teas. Delivery is quilck and free if your order is over £15. I advise anyone to register their machine at the Tassimo site, as they send you regular drinks ideas and money off coupons. I had my machine for a year...and to be honest it was well used...and it broke down. The machine comes with a two year gaurantee so I rang the helpline and was told to take it into the nearest repair point ( luckily I live in the same city as the repair point so was able to take it in personally... I had been looking at them for a while and really wanted one but i was a bit hesitant because of the price. Im so glad ive got it now because it is so easy to use, easy to clean and only takes a minute to make whatever kind of beverage you want. There is a great variety of pods for the tassimo such as hot chocolate, twinings tea, classic blend coffee, espresso coffee and many more. The pods are all great brand names. Usually supermarkets have great deals with the pods aswell. The only thing i wasnt very keen on with this machine was the noise but the fact that it makes a great, tea, coffee or hot chocolate means the noise... Read review

...Ive had my tassimo machine for around 3 months now and i am really impressed with it. It makes you a drink in about 30 seconds, and is very easy to use. You can make tea, coffee, espresso, and of course hot chocolate, which is what I make most!! You can make adjustments if you like you coffee a little bit weaker, as I do, there is a manual mode that allows you to adjust the volume of water to taste. I thourghly recommend this machine as the drinks taste great and it is easy to use. You also get to free packs of disks in the box. The only down side to this machine is the cost to the environment. The extent of packaging involved in making a single cupis really quite scary, I have limited myself to one or two cups a day. I know this is a little silly considering the cost of purchasing the machine etc., however I have been feeling a little... Read review

...I have had my tassimo for 18 months, and have used it almost every day (unlike my regular coffee machine, which took up so much space on the worktop that it got put away and it always seemed like too much hassle to get it out again for a single cup of coffee!!) and have been pleasantly surprised with the taste of the different pods that are now available. I am particularly fond of the latte, but must admit that the pods are quite expensive unless you are able to buy them when they are on offer at the supermarket. It is really easy to clean as it comes with an insert that you put in to auto-clean. The drip tray detaches, as does the water container, this only adds to its ease of use. My 9 year old neice is able to use it (still with supervision) without the worry of being scalded as the water comes out at a lower temperature than... Read review
