I have kept them all, though I have discovered no reason for doing so and no useful purpose for them either.! - it is just a sad reflection on the hoarding tendencies of the Badger clan.! ...birthday that I had an electric shaver. If I remember correctly, I think it was a Philishave or something similar. Fantastic, I thought, no more shaving the heads of spots! No just red raw skin and the occasional use of a blade to remove the bristles that the shaver seemed to miss. At least I wasn't bleeding, so when my father said, "you will need to give it time for your skin to adjust and use it twice a day," that didn't go down too well either. Over the years, I alternated between wet and electric shaving until I got a Braun circa 1978. This was shaving heaven; the blades were sharp and sliced through the toughest of bristles without effort and without the feeling that I was sandpapering my face. ...When both my old Braun Blenders broke within a couple of weeks I worked out how much use they had had in their lifetime. One was over 10 years old, the other was about 8 years old. bought when I first met my husband and we had two homes for a few years. The older blenders did not take apart to wash. Consequently, I assume, food debris worked up into the motor and clogged it, eventually burning out the motor. I originally looked at the much more sophisticated Braun Multipractic which was advertised on TV over Christmas. However, I already have other appliances which do all the same jobs that this appliance’s attachments do, so looked for another simple stick blender. There is plenty of choice out there. ...I bought this product to replace an older version from a different manufacturer that I have had for about five years. I moved from North America to the UK and my old epilator wasn't dual voltage, so buying a new one was easier than the variety of adaptors and step down devices I would have had to find to keep using the old one. Because I've been epilating so long, its hard for me to comment on the pain level of the Braun vs any other epilator as I really don't get much pain from the process anymore. At first it does hurt when you use it, but in my experience your skin gets accustomed, your hair roots get weaker, and the whole process gets quicker and easier. Quite a few of my hairs on my legs just don't grow in anymore. I do find my Braun to be much more efficent than my previous model, which I believe was a Remington. The Braun... Read review

...I recently purchased the Braun Cruzer 3 Shaver I bought it for £55 and I will now detail my experience with it aswell as providing all the need to know information. The Braun Cruzer 3 is a battery or mains operated shaver for men. It is blue and black in colour and looks neat and modern. The Braun Cruzer 3 is a single foil shaver with Brauns smart foil design and a multi directional floating head. The shaver also has a dual precision styler and a detachable beard trimmer. I am impressed with this shaver and have found it gives a really nice smooth shave without the risk of cuts. The dual precision styler is perfect for those hard to reach places and is also good if like I have in the past you want to define certain hair lines. ...I have been using this Braun electric toothbrush for several months now and so far I am very pleased with it. Unlike many other electric toothbrushes from Braun, this one has a timer that lets you know (it pulsates) once you've brushed for 2 minutes. The head moves 7600x per minute which is less than the 8000 oscillations per minute of the most expensive Braun model, but it is more than sufficiant for the average user. This Braun comes with 2 brushheads included. Technically you should replace the heads every 3 months so these 2 should last you for about 6-7 months. People often complain about the price of the Brush heads, but I think it needs to be seen perspective. An average brush head costs between £3-6, which is between £1-3 a month. ...I was looking for a good shaver that does the job right, with a smooth and fast shave. After searching around for some time I found this excellent design product from Braun. This is without doubt the best Braun shaver to date. The combination of the new head, foil and cutter assembly has made this shaver the one to beat. I have used the Panasonic ES 8163 and in many ways this gives a very similar shave, but with the very real advantage of the Braun cleaning system - I'm lazy when it comes to cleaning shavers - it's a chore, but for around £3.50 per month in cartridges you get a consistently cleaned and dried shaver without any fuss, and it really feels new every time you use it in the morning.I've also used previous Braun's shavers and this is a major step forward on everything that's gone before. ...This is a worthwhile product for those still brushing away with manual toothbrushes. I used to be sceptical, too - but several years with another Braun toothbrush, a 4729, has changed my tune. Don't just take my word - the dentists all seem to agree that power brushing is as good for you as power walking! For those who have an older power toothbrush, let me say that upgrading is worthwhile. My darling wife had to be convinced that this was the case. Her first assumption was that her gadget-addicted husband had just been tempted by another blue neon light. Within a day of using the new Braun, she was agreed that it is a significant improvement. ...I was bought the Braun 5580 by my husband for Christmas (it was on my list)!! Normally retails for about £60 and was bought from Boots. I've been using it religiously for the past 2 months....probably about 4 times a week. I use it on my underarms, legs (upper and lower) and bikini line. I have also used it on my upper lip and my husbands chin. This proved too painful for both of us and we've not done it again....so, although you do get an attachment that enables you to use it on your face, you have to have a very high pain threshold to be able to do so. I've always shaved and occasionally have everything waxed, usually when we're going away on holiday or for a special occasion. I shave my legs and underarms everyday and my bikini line every other day (I find it gets stubbly otherwise)...not an attractive look! The Braun... Read review
