Brazil Nut Hair MASK

...I first bought this hair mask when visiting my local Body Shop before going off on my travels to Turkey, where I knew the suns harmful rays would take their toll on my hair. The packaging was great. In general Body Shop packaging is not bland and boring as you expect it to be it is indeed minimalist but it appeals to the senses and has a great organic feel about it. And I love the organic look. It was a large round tub with a round sticker on top and of course the usual details onm stickers underneath the tub. The picture of brazil nuts on the front made my mouth water and knowing that this stuff was not tested on animals and all the packaging was made out of recycled goods made my heart fee at rest. The brazil nut body scrub not only smells scrumptious but is so moisturising that you can probably skip the body butter...but I don't. The ultimate treat is my Sunday Scrub followed by the body butter. Yup, it's such a luxurious treat that I pamper myself once a week only! The Brazil Nut Body Scrub comes with salt to exfoliate and brazil nut oil (from the Amazon region) to moisturise. Grab some of Nobbys Nuts!

Advantages: Delicious taste, quite tangy!
Disadvantages: Might be a little hot for some people, high in fat.

...I purchased a packet of Nobby's Nuts for around £1.40 from my local convenience store when looking for something different from crisps. I have tried these before (when they first came out) and was a massive fan! Nobbys Nuts are peanuts which are coated in a crispy shell which is flavoured (in this case with Sweet Chilli). The package is easy to open with a small tear at the top to allow you to tear off a corner and start pouring them out. Although the whole that was torn was just not large enough and I did find myself accidentally splitting half the packet open and throwing nuts all around the place (thank goodness I'm female with a comment like that!). The sweet chilli coating is absolutely delicious and quite tangy (as advertised), I found myself enjoying about 1/4 of the packet before I was desperate for a cold drink to wash them...

...I do like nuts at Christmas ? well I?m a bit nutty myself so why not? I always used to buy nuts in their shells and traditionally say there trying to get said nuts out of said shells in as few pieces as possible. I seem to remember that Brazil nuts are a real pain! Then of course there?s the disappointment when you finally crack a shell to find either a rotten nut or a puff of dust and no nut at all! So, in recent years, I have taken to buying ready-shelled nuts and I always get a few different varieties so that I cover the tastes of any guests. I will just say here that the BIG disadvantage to buying nuts like this is that they are so much easier to eat that I always end up eating far too many and they are seriously fattening! Advantages: tasty, nice big bits of nuts
Disadvantages: Not one for those watching their fat intke or those with nut allergies

...I'm nuts about nuts in all shapes and sizes. I love Brazils, cashews, and peanuts. I will have them in sweet in chocolate or caramel or savoury roasted with salt and even cracked black pepper. They make the ideal snack to nibble on. They are high in all the good fats you need and apparently are fairly low on the GI scale. Bearing this in mind I thought I would buy one of KP's new nut bars The KP Nut Bar is a new snack that at first glance looks like a cereal bar as they are the same size and shape.
