.... Well for an 80?s movie they are. The camera work is interesting, using full advantage of space and distance. It captures the facial expressions of the actors perfectly at the exact right times. The directing is brilliant as Hughes really knows the characters and the way they would react. As he wrote the script, he expertly shows the things that the audience want to see, but doesn?t go out of control with the editing. This all in all makes for a very good and entertaining teen flick. You can often tell the quality of a movie, by the ending. I like the way that The Breakfast Club, ends with not a bang, but a feel good one. Overall I would defiantly recommend this as one of the best brat pack flicks. The price on Amazon is 5.99 on video, which is a bargain. They have only released it on DVD in region 1. An awful show for an awful station

Disadvantages: Bad jokes, bad presenters, bad music

...I think that this breakfast show has to be one of the worst breakfast shows around. It doesn't help that I don't like the radio station that much. I think that the music that they play is always the same. Having listened to my parents play the station for nearly 3 years now, I can confirm that they do play a lot of the same music, especially from the 80's, which really gets annoying after a few times of listening to it. I also think that Chris is not funny. His jokes are all of the same style and are getting old. He might have been funny at first but he has run out of ideas. I would not recommend this show at all....

...As i work as a postalworker, i am always jumping in and out of a van every morning. I used to listen to chris evans on virgin 1215. But recently i have started to tune into radio one, and listen to sarah cox on her breakfast show. At first i thought she was trying to be a bit like chris, she seemed to be trying to copy his stlye of show, what with having people in the studio and trying out different routines. I think she was doing this mainly down to first time nerves. She has now settled down and the show seems to be going along nicely. All the links are nicely put together and she has a good choice of diferent style of music. The talking with her studio guests is very witty, and unlike other radio stations she likes to keep this short, so to spend more time playing music. The phone ins are very witty, when she tries...

Earlier this year I read her novel 'My Best Friend's Girl' which I absolutely adored so I was very keen to read this one and it did not disappoint! It is the sort of book which should appeal to you if you like reading about people and relationships but it is definitely not 'chick lit'! The main character in the book is Kendra. Things have happened in her past which still have a serious impact on her life and she seems to spend a lot of her life running away rather than confronting her problems.
