...After watching the big breakfast since the biging all those years ago, I have seen it through the good (of course Jonny and Denise) and the bad (all the other presenters with the exception of Donna Air). I was jumping for joy when I heard that Van Outen was coming back to the Big B as no-one can compete with her on-screen chemistry with Jonny V, yet now they have left, will the big breakfast ever be the same again? Of course not. Bacon just doesn't have what it takes to be the new Jonny Vaughn, he tries to copy his style but instead it comes out as insulting. The new temporary presenters (PAUL DANIELS this morning wow! not) are dreadful. I know it is sad to say but I rather the Big breakfast was no more if they cannot have jonny and denise... Read review

...Tunnel is a very popular place with students, especially as it offers very reasonable breakfasts and lunches, before becoming a lively pub by night with frequent live music. For those choosing it as a breakfast bar, there are various options from muesli and fruit, through to the arabian breakfast (olives, sheep's cheese and humous), or spanish chorizo omelettes. The service is quick, and the fruit juice ohsoreasonable (happy hour over breakfast!). A breakfast including a coffee often only comes to around ATS 70 (just over three quid!) although friends have warned me to steer clear of the tuna. ...Recently I stayed at the Holiday Inn in Cardiff. This was my third stay. What an ideal place to stay. Situated next door to the Millenium Stadium ; bedroom window overlooking the stadium. 10 Minute walk from the railway station. On arrival we were checked in efficiently and professionally. Our room was cleaned to a high standard and we felt very welcome. The following day we had to leave early as we had an appointment and therefore I enquired in the restaurant about what time breakfast was. I was told breakfast began at 7:30 because it was Sunday. I asked if we could have breakfast earlier. In reply I was asked what time we would like to have breakfast. I couldn't believe it , having stayed in places where people were less helpful! Eventually we decided on 6:30 which I thought was a real exception as some of the staff had to come... Read review

...My partner and I stayed at the South Hampton Guest House for a weekend in early 2006. We choose the property because it was reasonably close to the centre of Cambridge Township (about 15-20 minutes walk) and also for it's price. We paid £45/night for the two of us including breakfast. The general décor was nothing to marvel about, a bit pokey and very old fashioned. However, keeping in mind what we paid our stay was reasonable. The rooms (I think there were 4 or 5 in total) were on the small side. Ours was fitted with a double bed, a single chair, one bedside table, a small wardrobe with several drawers attached and a tv mounted on the wall. There was a little side tray containing tea, coffee milk and a few biscuits. There was very little room for much else and we had to store our 1 suitcase on top of the wardrobe... Read review

Advantages: Chester itself was great

...A group of us visited Chester last summer for a friends birthday. Given a list of hotels / B&Bs to choose for we ended up booking the Bull & Stirrup. Little did we know at the time that it was a lap dancing club! The rooms were dirty, the breakfast horrible and the staff rude and unplesant. The rooms were £50 a night at the time so we expected it to be a descent place. I also thought that an English breakfast was Tea, toast and suasages, egg, bacon etc.. Unfortunatly their idea of breakfast was cold toast, tea and a bowl of what tasted like No Frills cereal. Anyway despite this what we saw of Chester was great! Although I'm amazed that in a city surrounded by city walls there were no kids running around throwing water bombs at people below!... Read review

...I think that this breakfast show has to be one of the worst breakfast shows around. It doesn't help that I don't like the radio station that much. I think that the music that they play is always the same. Having listened to my parents play the station for nearly 3 years now, I can confirm that they do play a lot of the same music, especially from the 80's, which really gets annoying after a few times of listening to it. I also think that Chris is not funny. His jokes are all of the same style and are getting old. He might have been funny at first but he has run out of ideas. I would not recommend this show at all.... Read review

...Since Sara Cox has been at the helm of the Radio One Breakfast Show I have been unimpressed and frustrated. Having said that, it's still the best show on in the morning (local radio around Cheshire is nothing to write home about to say the least). Coxy had a hard act to follow in Zoë Ball but has gone nowhere in proving herself in my book. She has all the heart need to take over from Zoë but she mainly lacks charisma. Her social skills with callers are left wanting and any signs of a decent replacement were soon dashed. Coxy leaving is imminent (she'll soon decide that the early mornings aren't worth it, like so many hosts before her) and hopefully the Breakfast Show will be restored to it's former glory.... ...Excellent budget travel hotel. We arrived at 11.30pm andeven at this time it was no problem for the staff to make up a kids spare bed and put a baby's cot into our room. Accomodation appeared very new and was spotlessly clean. Buffet breakfast was in the adjoining service station, with a wonderful choice. Cooked breakfasts were served to the table by a very friendly waiter, while in addition you also have the option of helping yourself to as much as you can eat from the continental buffet breakfast. Great value, especially as the kids ate for free. Although based in a maotorway service station this hotel was noise free, and we all had a great nights sleep. We will definately stay there when next visiting that part of the country and wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to anyone.... Read review

...The big breakfast, is hilarious now theyve got rid of Lisa Tarbuck and put OLD denise back on her thrown!!! her and johney Vorn make a great tv couple. when denise left the ratings dropped as boring lisa just laughed at everything johney said and hardly had a joke herself. The two combined are GREAT they are really funny and are prepared to have a laugh. i watch it from 7 until 9 every morning and it really wakes me up and sets me in a good temper for the day. even if you dont like the sound of it try it and log onto channel 4 at 7!!!!!...
