...Despite living in Lincoln, I have only the one experience of the White Hart. My cricket club had it's annual presentation dinner there last year. Location Set in the beautiful, historic uphill Bailgate area in the city centre, The White Hart is in the shadow of the magnificent Lincoln Cathedral. This means it is in the upmarket area of the city, meaning that the prices are higher than if it were elsewhere in the city. Prices It has to be said that the prices are high. We paid £27 for the ticket and this included a 3 course meal and nothing else. At the bar before I bought a round of drinks (two pints of lager and a large glass of white) and it came to a shade over £10. This, to me is quite expensive. It was then purchased by two nice gentlemen; one an extraordinarily talented chef and the other a wonderful business man and hey presto 10 years later you have one of the most thriving 'gastro pubs' in the country that people travel for miles around to come and eat at and has won award upon award. White Hart Hotel in Lincoln

Advantages: Close to Historical Landmarks, Friendly Staff, Good Rooms, Stylish
Disadvantages: Expensive Breakfast, Some parts need Refurbishment

...I am writing his review from my White Hart hotel room and in my opinion this is quite an above average hotel. I arrived here with my family (Mum and Dad) yesterday. It was pretty easy to find and get here from Leeds where we spent the day out, just off the A15, but in the next 2 hours when we check out we will be taking the A46 to return home (Reading). The hotel provides their own parking just round the side of the hotel, with a small bay which cars strictly shouldn't stay in at all, but seems to be used by taxis to drop people off. Upon arrival we were greeted by very pleasant reception staff who knew a lot about the local area. Asking about local restaurants they informed us about the various Italian, Mexican, Thai, Chinese, English Pubs and all about the restaurant they have which was very helpful. Disadvantages: If I'm nitpicking, the documentary skips over "Montreal" a little bit.

...I am a big fan of Bret "Hitman" Hart and I have been for many years. I grew up watching him and followed his career at the beginning in WWE (which was WWF at the time) right up until his retirement from wrestling in 2000. This DVD is a co-production of WWE and Bret Hart. Bret Hart has many personal issues with World Wrestling Entertainment (such as the death of his brother Owen) and for him to put those issues aside for the benefit of the fans is a really good thing. The main feature of the DVD is a documentary in which Hart and his peers in the wrestling industry take you through his career. Featuring a fantastic two hour documentary on his life and his career in Stampede Wrestling, the World Wrestling Federation (now WWE) and the defunct World Championship Wrestling company. There's also 18 full matches, apparently hand-picked by Hart himself and various other bonus features. The Little Things First thing you'll notice is the presentation. This DVD has been lovingly put together and every aspect just screams quality.
