...Well well well .. me and the mighty Special Brew meet again and to be quite honest I'm glad theres a screen between me and the might lager as I can honestly say I've had some good times but oohhh I've definatly had some bad times on it! The first time I ever drunk this so called lager was at the age of 15 (nearly 5 years ago) in a park close to my home. I only had £10 per week from my paper round and armed with a bottle of White Lightning and 4 cans of Special Brew I decided to take on the world. Anyway with a bit of courage I decided I could drink all 4 cans with ease and still stand to tell the tale - I was definatly niave then!! Love it and leave it

Advantages: Some good tracks

...After a few years in the wilderness, John Squire, of Stone Roes fame, hit back at the musical world with an album and new band. The Seahorses carried with them the legacy of owning the creative one from the almighty smash band of the late 80's who were the Stone Roses. So with a follow up album that did nt quite hit the market like it was intended and growing differences with the band, the Stone Roses split and went off to their own solo projects. The immediate success of the Seahorses was shortlived though. Today they are not really mentioned. Their music was possibly too tuneful to match the raw sound of the Stone Roses. After all, the vocalist, Chris Helme, was far more melodic than Ian Brown ever was. However, this album did bring some good reviews and I am here to talk about it. "Do it To Yourself" was released in 1997...

Review of You Have No Idea What You're Getting Yourself Into - Does It Offend You Yeah

Strange Brew eh?

Advantages: Great film eh!!

...Strange Brew. What is it? Well, it?s a film about Bob and Doug Mackenzie and they are a pair of Dumbwits that are supposed to live in Canada. All they are interested in is Donuts, Beer and Hockey. They make a real stupid film and get stitched up by the brewery. That is all I am saying or I will spoil the plot for you!!! ~It?s a real old film (about 1982) and stars Rick Moranis in his early days. I really think you should watch this film if you like Canada and Hockey. Oh and Beer!!! Great quote from the film ? Take off you Hoser!?. Its hard to get hold of in UK but you can order it from special shops. Not as good as the hockey fillm Slapshot but quite funny....

Satan's Brew

Disadvantages: Tastes absolutely disgusting

...Special Brew, eh? The creme de la creme of Tramps' Stew style beverages. If you're drinking this rather than Tennants' Super, then you're obviously a higher class of hobo. It's not cheap, but that isn't really the point, because a pint of this stuff does things to you that normal pints will never do. I last had this stuff when I was sixteen but boy does it stick out in my mind even today. I drank three cans and proceeded to get lost in a field. I eventually came to after being enveloped in a nightmare for nigh on three hours, by which time I'd walked into a telegraph pole. Twice. It tastes worse than almost anything else I've ever tried. Only (a) tramps and (b) Chavs out to cause trouble, are ever going to drink this stuff habitually. This drink doesn't deserve any stars at all. In fact I'd give it negative stars if I could....

Incubus - Make Yourself

Advantages: An exciting album from a cracking band
Disadvantages: Maybe the odd 'weak' track

...So then, here's a bit of hard rock for you all...... "Make Yourself" is the third album by the band Incubus, and was released on Sony records in October 1999. The album is seen by many as the band's most successful, although it's follow-up "Morning View" wasn't too shabby in my opinion!! It steered slightly off course from the band's previous two albums - "Fungus Amongus" and "S.C.I.E.N.C.E" - which were somewhat 'heavier' in sound, but the sound quality of them two wasn't at quite as high a standard as "Make Yourself". Specifically, there were more mellower tunes on this record. Singles "Drive" and "Stellar" clearly show this. Yes, the latter has "heavier" or "distorted" moments, but for the majority relies on calm, even soothing melodies that are a pleasure just to lay back and listen to. So how good is the album? Well...

...expecting it, it comes round and brewtalises the listener. 12. World Of Trouble if theres a song to listen to when driving at 90mph down the motor way when everythings going down the drain, this song is it. to me screams, lifes a bitch, but lets get drunk. 13. Spoke In The Wheel so this songs un amped, unplugged and just zakk and his acoustic, a relaxing song showing the mans influences and him living his true potential. 14. The Beginning... At Last an upbeat track sporting the bands signature guitar masterwork, and zakks un missable lyrical conent with signs of guns n roses, and this songs shows what ozzy osbournes last few albums would be like if zakk had the full creative controll 15. No More Tears this is what i dont understand, zakk wylde wrote this song with ozzy osbourne in the early 90's. but yet he covers his own works...

The crew of an Italian fishing boat retrieve from the sea what they initially think is the dead body of a man. Once on board they realise that he is actually alive. One of the fishermen digs out two bullets from the man's back and a capsule from his hip. It is quickly discovered that the capsule contains the number of a Swiss bank account. When the man comes to he remembers nothing of his life before that moment, but he can tie some mean fishing knots! After two weeks at sea he has recovered physically, but has still not regained his memory. So he makes his way to the bank in Zurich where he discovers that his name is Jason Bourne; or then again it could be any of the names on the many other passports contained in the safe...

...I would just like to write a review on Help Yourself, the latest installment in the series of books by Dave Pelzer. We all know of his previous three books, that all chart his struggles as a child - as we know now, his case was actually in fact one of the worst ever recorded in American history. But anyway, we digress from the matter that is at hand here. This 'final chapter' shows us the lessons or challanges that Dave Pelzer learnt throughout his early years, and shows us how to overcome our own fears by using these in our own way. These lessons include resolving to take a stand, and having a cheerful disposition to name but those few that jumped out at me from the book. It talks to no end on how you can best overcome your past, basically by helping yourself by way of positive thought; taking a stand, and so on. However...
