TOMTOM UK MAPS Re-written . .

Advantages: Easy to keep with TOMTOM at all times.
Disadvantages: Easy to lose if not in safe stowage.

...After using this product myself for nine months now, I feel I am qualified to write this report. These maps are very easy to load into the Tomtom, (they load in a few moments) easy to use, show just about everything you need to navigate with ease There are some very easy to see graphics, and the colours are just about right for all light conditions. The display is very clear, and unaffected by sunlight. It is easy to see in all conditions. The price does appear a little on the high side at the moment, however, I suspect it will drop as soon as it starts selling like "hot cakes" as I am sure it will do very soon. The only fault I can think of, is the ease of losing it, due to the size, however, I find that used film containers are perfect for things like this. The blank cards are cheap enough to buy...

Very Useful

Advantages: Loads of features
Disadvantages: Graphics on GPS are not improved

...My mum recently bought the Great Britain Topo for her partner's birthday. He had been looking for excuses to spend £150 for months, so we finally gave in and got him one. It was not quite what he expected, as the map of Britain is split into smallish sections. You select these sections on your computer and download them to your GPS. You can only have a limited number of sections on your GPS, depending on the memory of your model. The Topo includes contour lines, roads and tracks, places of interest like pubs, and other accurate geographical features like lakes and rivers. From what I know, the Topo is fairly accurate. I know that it has come in useful when walking. One of the main features is the ability to plan routes on the computer and download them to your GPS. Disadvantages: .Cost, plust the fact that it will become out of date one day.

Review of TomTom Navigator 6 Great Britain Maps

So This Is Great Britain And Welcome Aboard

Advantages: A decent debut of catchy tracks
Disadvantages: Won't appeal to many who don't appreciate Indie music

...the sound is perfect for this album. It's not over produced and the vocals give it a raw edge that would have been lost if they had been too perfect and not left with a natural sound to them. Instead the result is actually really good and it translates the tracks well into the live show as they don't have the luxury of production live so why use too much on the record. The resulting album is quite an enjoyable way to spend 40 minutes. It has quite a good pace to it and a couple of tracks that really stand out. It is however an album for fans of Indie music and unless The Holloway's lose the plot and follow Preston and The Ordinary Boys path they should make it quie big amongst Britain's Indie fans. Of course the real stand out track on the album is the single that lead to me discovering the band, "Generator". It has a very purposeful start...

...The new TomTom One is a huge improvement on the design of the out side casing. The old look was large and bulky and to tell you the truth I thought that it was ugly, but this new design is brilliant. It's smaller, nice flat screen, light weight and fits snugly into your hand. I find this comfortable and very user friendly. I bought my TomTom because I was sick and tired of having maps all over my car as I enjoy going out a lot. I can have my TomTom sat in the car telling which way to go instead of flicking from one A to Z to another. The best thing that I found with the new TomTom one is that it is so easy to input the destination that you want to go to. Advantages: An eay and accyurate tool for many recreational activities and its free
Disadvantages: Devising a route can be time consuming

...with numerous amounts of expensive ordinance survey maps. *The mile markers are an excellent feature and it makes it easy to devise a route of the desired distance without the hassle of using bits of string and laying them around maps, or using an electronic map measurer (and I have yet to find an accurate one). *The route can be edited as it is being drawn to ensure the desired distance is achieved, or the desired roads are used. ...All Maps Welcome is the third album from Tom McRae, after his self-titled album, Tom McRe, and then Just Like Blood. I first heard this album when I was given a free taster to it, which played about 30 seconds of each song; this then led me to buy the full album. I was already a fan, and was looking forward to seeing him when he toured last year. His dark lyrics and melancholy melodies really blew me away, and I wanted to hear more. In this album, he uses assistance from members of Beck?s backing band. It took only three weeks to record, and the album itself deals with the break up of a long term relationship. His lyrics are just as deep as in other albums, but with hints of self-pity never seen before. Well, the Great Britain is the first iron hulled steam ship, that being the "S.S" or "ss" prefix! This is a review written from the standpoint of an S.S. Great Britain Trust member of some 12 years standing. The bulk of this will go rather beyond the standard "visitor attraction" review which is so familiar to us all on Ciao.
