Disadvantages: Very small interior to main oven, very difficult to clean hob and oven floor. Expensive.

...I really had to beg my husband to buy this cooker - much more expensive at over £4000 than we had intended - because I especially wanted the chef top plus six more gas burners, the two electric ovens, the instantaneous gas hob, the multi-function main oven, and smaller oven - because we have a large family and often do a lot of cooking. Now that we have it, we are really disappointed. The chef top works well - and it's great to have so many rings for pans, but everything on the gas hob is a nightmare to clean - none of the products in the Britannia cleaning kit (expensive) seems to actually bring cooking carbon off the chrome rings or the brass burners - best product I have found is Astonish. Also it is really difficult to simmer anything - even on the lowest setting, food burns in the pans, except perhaps the very small rings...

Advantages: newly refurbed room, brilliant bath and shower, price

...Well my second weekend in Brumopolis passed with little excitement, which was something of a relief. The hotel on this occasion was booked through laterooms.com (see previous review) and was the Britannia in the city centre, it cost me £47 for a double room bed only, a friend also staying the same night paid £42 for a single. Arriving at the train station my previous visits 'beer compass' directions sent me for a walk around the outside of the train station but from the exit through the shopping centre it is literally a walk of a minute at most (note to self shoving through groups of football fans is a bad idea). ...About 4 or so years ago now I was round a friend's house and we were playing loads of PS2 games and having loads of fun. He then suggested we play this game called Dynasty Warriors - one that I had never heard of or seen, so I just agreed and had absolutely no idea what I was about to be playing. As soon as we started and got into battle I found this game absolutely amazing and was astounded at the sheer size of the battles as you have to fight through literally thousands of enemies and eventually defeat some big boss guy! Advantages: Great gameplay, Fun, Hundreds & Thousends of soldiers with and against you.
Disadvantages: Rigid character movements make for limited gameplay at times

...Having stayed at The Britannia Country House Hotel, about a mile up the road from this one, I would not have chosen to stay at another Britannia Hotel if my life depended on it, however we were working here and had to stick it out for a couple of nights in October. I have to admit I was expecting the worst. First Impressions As you approach the hotel you are me with one of the worst looking hotels you have ever set eyes on. I am not exaggerating, this hotel really is an eyesore, it is simply a huge mass of pebble dashed concrete, and resembles a block of ugly high rise flats, it is also about 100 meters from the M56, which is handy for getting to the airport amongst other things, but also adds to the eyesore and, obvously, noise factor. ...Britannia Airways are one of the biggest package holiday airlines in Britain and most of their passengers are customers of Thomson Holidays. We go Thomson most years when off on our summer hols so I?ve used Britannia a several times now. I?ll be honest from the start, Britannia are not a patch on British Airways. But it is unfair to compare the two airlines as Britannia operate on a much tighter budget than British Airways. If you compare the amount of money you pay for a seat on British Airways and the amount Thomson pay for your seat on Britannia I am sure there will be a big difference. So Britannia are a package holiday airline have tight budgets and as well as flying you to your destination they are expected to provide entertainment, decent food and overall give you a pleasant flight. This is not always as easy as it sounds - most local pubs are tied to national breweries or pub companies and are often not allowed to stock locally produced products.
