...and talk to "Sanja" Hurray someone honest, it didn't last I am afraid, what a joke this chap reckons its my Sky interfering with AOL? He said AOL should only be the only thing in the main phone socket, and he says it is definitely sky's fault sending data down my line? I said for 5 hours you're telling me sky is stealing my bandwidth he says YES....so I disconnect my sky and my phone and try it...still the same. I decide enough is enough and tell him to put me through to someone so I can cancel my AOL broadband. I am put through to the Irish call centre and I am asked what the problem is, I explain again about what has been going on and there pathetic so called Level 2 Technicians. Broadband Sneaks

Advantages: No longer a reliable broadband service
Disadvantages: Reduce download speed if they can get away with it

...I've added an update to the end of this review. See below. It's been nearly a year now since I started my contract for Post Office Broadband. My package also includes Post Office Home Phone so the review also includes a few details about the phone line service. The monthly charge for my phone line and broadband is roughly £22 for the whole package. I now see that the same package is available for £19.95. They offer various packages that you can check on their website www.postoffice.co.uk. My package includes monthly phone line rental and the broadband service and is a twelve months contract. ...Providing an excellent complete total broadband service, that is reliable, from a company you know and trust and offers more than any other supplier. As you may be or may not be aware as recently featured on watchdog BT was voted the best broadband provider. Not only that but has been voted the best provider for 3 years running. Sky Broadband Max Review

Advantages: Fast speeds, easy to set up, unlimited downloads, cheap

...Before reading this review, please note I am using the Sky Broadband Max package. I was previously with PlusNet for two years. They started off good, but the service went downhill once they were taken over by BT. Download speeds were slow, and being such a heavy user, an 11GB bandwidth limit was too small. A friend of mine, who was also using PlusNet also saw a decline in the quality of service. He had moved to the 8MB package from Sky with the 40GB bandwidth limit. He suggested I move to Sky, so I did. Looking at the prices, I saw that for only £10 a month I could get Sky's Max package. This include speeds of up to 16MB, and unlimited downloads. ...SKY BROADBAND We've had Sky Broadband since it first came available in our area about 2 years ago now. In my opinion, it is a great ISP which offers good speed and download limits etc. for a great price. We have the top package, which is the most expensive at £10 per, and this is cheaper than a lot of ISPs who offer the same/similar services. For this price, we get fast internet (I'm not going to mention speed as it'll always be different depending on your location from the telephone exchange, I'm not too sure on my actual speed anyway). However, it only takes about a minute to download a 1 hour+ podcast from itunes, which I think is a good speed. There is no download limit (the usual "fair usage" applies) When you take out Sky Broadband, you get your wireless router free which comes with all wires (ethernet etc.) and some...
