...~*~*~INTRODUCTION~*~*~ My mother in law wanted to buy a travel cot when my son was born as she will be looking after him when I go back to work. We looked around on the internet and when she saw the Graco compact she decided that was the one, she loved that it was nice and bright and thought my son would enjoy playing in there as well as sleeping. We ordered it from Kiddicare but unfortunately they have stopped selling it. The Place 2 go If you're In Broadway

Advantages: Good hotel, Value 4 money, nice rooms.

...I've worked at the hotel for three years nearly and I can say It's a really good hotel. It's situated in the middle of Broadway which is in the middle of the Cotswolds, it's a perfect place to stay if you're a walker and walking the Cotswolds or if you're just visiting all the lovely shops for a couple of days, The Broadway Hotel is the place to go. The building has looked the same since 1772 but has been there since 1575 and fits in perfectly with the village. In my opinion the hotel is not really made for kids as the village in itself doesn't have anything fun for children to do. There's a park and an ice cream stand, which is about the extent of the things for kids to do around here, however it's a perfect place for tourists and adults love it. ...I visited the Broadway Hotel in October 2007, and was very disappointed with the standards of accomidation in which the Broadway Hotel had to offer. I have never stayed in such a dirty and poorly presented Hotel, in all the years in which I have visited Blackpool. The rooms were fair, but in 5 days of staying, the toilet was not cleaned, the bins were not emptied and at no time was the rooms or beds freshened. The owner had a dog which sat on all the furniture in the lounge, and obviously had fleas, and the management would eagerly accomidate elderly bus tours, before any other customers. They would not cater for children unless you specifically asked them, as a child menu was not offered, unless you specified it, as they felt it was acceptable to give an 18 month old baby a pork chop for dinner, bone included, and they seldom cleaned...

...My husband bought himself Audrey Niffenegger?s The Time Traveller?s Wife as he is a sci-fi fan. He read the book and put it on the bookshelf. After a few weeks I read a few reviews on it and discovered that we have this book so I started reading it. It was a very engaging reading I could hardly put the book down. When we heard that there will be a film based on this exciting and brilliant novel we decided to go together to the cinema to watch it. Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. A bulky travel system

Advantages: Big Shopping basket, Suitable until baby wants to walk, Great for Ramming people out of the way (joke)

Ever since i brought it i hated but my partner wouldnt let me take it back because he liked it. -Car Seat- My son never liked the car seat so it didnt get used much. It scrunched him up to much and even though they say you can use it until the baby is 29lbs my son would fit in it when he got to 20lbs. The only good thing about the car seat was that it was easy to fit into a car and onto the pushcchair to make it a travel system. -Pushchair- As i said above my son didnt like it in the carseat so i had to put him in the pushchair from about 2weeks old, this pushchair is ment to be suitable from birth.
