...Blood Brothers is a fantastic musical that has been around for over 20 years and is still as popular as ever. I have now seen it 5 times and cant wait to go again its that good. Book, lyrics and music are all by Willy Russell. Plot is centred around the working class Johnstone family with Mrs Johnstone becoming a single parent quite soon into the story as her husband leaves her with a brood of children. To feed her family Mrs Johnstone gets a job at the upper class Lyons household as a cleaner and is a big hit. Soon after she realises she is pregnant with twin boys and cant possibly afford to bring up another two children. Mrs Lyons however is desperate for a child and unable to get pregnant so offers to 'buy the baby. Reluctantly Mrs Johnson agrees and the deal is done. Advantages: An assortment of amazing tracks

He has played in a couple of bands since graduated from university in 2001, and built up popularity doing open mic nights when he was studying. Although he is pretty unknown still (bet you haven?t heard of him?) he has managed to build up a large fan base through his exposure with Brand New, having supported them numerous times. This is mainly due to being close friends with Jesse Lacey, the singer from Brand New, who has appeared on a couple of his songs. Blood Brothers

Advantages: Strong cast, effective use of tension, well organised
Disadvantages: Length, some ideas not fully explored, repetitive at times.

...with the characters. Mrs Lyons, body language I thought was especially good when faced with the narrator and she should be congratulated on delivering a solid performance in this regard. As was the acting by Eddie and Mickey; both character delivered strong performances, especially when the characters were in a younger stage. The adult performers pulled off a childhood effect with great accuracy and strength that deserves complementing. Infact the overall quality of the acting was very good. The Narrator spoke loudly and with clarity, and created an impressive atmosphere with his voice. Cast members seemed to be well aware of there lines and scripts, I was unable to fault the acting from a fixed script. If any improvisation did occur, it was done very well and was accepted and developed precisely. It was clear the effect of Blood Brothers was well received...

Blood Brothers

Advantages: Good action film

...This is a flm only review and is not about the DVD. Four Brothers is an excellent gritty film that I watched on Film 4 a couple of nights ago, it has a strong cast and a pretty good story line that focuses on family relationships and the quest for revenge. The four brothers in the title are all adopted and are bought back together to the city of Detroit one winters day for the funeral of their foster mother who provided them with a loving home and precious childhood memories in a rough working class area. The mother has been killed in a convenience store robbery while she was shopping for groceries and the thre of the brothers vow to get revenge despite the close attention of the local police to whome they are well known. ...'m also not sure why I decided to use Loreal Casting to do so, but I did, and I'm really glad of it. This was the first brand of dye that I used, and I was really pleased with the results. I have since tried other brands - Garnier Nutrisse and I think one by Wella - but I've always came back to this brand, as I find it's the easiest to use and gives the best and longest lasting results. ~~About the dye~~ This hair dye is a tone on tone gel colourant and contains no ammonia. It promises to give Natural looking colour and ultra-shiny highlights. This will cover first greys The box states that this will last up to 6 weeks with no visible roots, but I have found it to last something nearer to 10 weeks. ~~Packaging and contents~~ This comes in a pink box which is very similar to the one pictured, although I believe the one shown...

...Blood brothers has been on the GCSE syllabus now for how many years? And that?s how I first got introduced into the play so I read it over and over and over and over again so I'd like to say I know it pretty well, and I didn't get all that bored of it. The play begins with telling you the ending, believe it or not. It tells you that there were twins, one given away and one kept yet they both died on the same day. The narrator tries to tell us that Mrs Johnstone (the twins' mother) was cruel and heartless, yet we learn throughout the play that she is a sweet and caring mother that would never wish to hurt a fly. The beginning of the play really sets the mood telling us about Mrs Johnstone and how she became pregnant so often, and it also sets the light-hearted mood for the play. Casting Creme Gloss

Advantages: Lovely hair colour, shimmery, smooth. Conditioning.
Disadvantages: Application is a little annoying, price.

...-permanent line of L'Oreal casting crème as I only ever dye my hair semi-permanently as I am too scared of something going wrong and me hating my hair forever. As my hair is so long (it would take probably 5 years to grow the colour out! Eeek!) since Ciao doesn't have a separate product for semi and permanent this is why my review is in this category. Please don't mistake it for permanent, in fact, I'm not even sure you can get excellence crème in permanent; you'll have to do some snooping! I bought this product at boots and it's normally £6.98, which I think is a little pricey for a semi-permanent hair colour but it was a pound of so I got it for £5.98. Advantages: Easy to use, covers grey and dodgy highlights, lasting effect

...At nearly six pounds, this isn't the cheapest hair dye out there but it's incredibly easy to use and virtually mess-free. Also, it works. After a disasterous highlighting adventure, i used Casting Creme Gloss in Mahogany to cover up the damage. I have used this product (same colour) in the past, and it covers greys perfectly. I was impressed with the way it also covered up my unwanted highlights. They still show through a little bit, but more as tasteful lowlights as opposed to the brassy orange streaks i had before. Casting Creme Gloss is easy to use. You basically mix two bottles together and shake. The manufacturers have even made a handy slit in the box so that you can wedge your bottle of mixture in it and it will stand upright. Now, that's really thoughtful! ...home with. Obviously, as I am reviewing L'Oreal Casting Creme Gloss, this was my final choice. But why? Firstly, brand recognition. I use a lot of L'Oreal hair care and make up products, and I would have to admit that it is one of my preferred brands. The pictures on the packaging were very believable, unlike other boxes which, to be honest, looked very cheap and didn't do much justice to their product. The L'Oreal packaging was shiny and glossy, and made of a thick, quality card. As I previously mentioned, what appealed was the photograph of the hair colour displayed - to me it appeared natural, and not as though it had been simply painted there with a computer. The idea of a cream caught my attention, as it lead me to belive that the application would be more even. The colour chart on the outside showed a not too dramatic...
