The idea of watching 10 people 24 hours a day within the confines of one house, in theory seems pretty boring, but it's surprising how quickly you are drawn into the big brother world. No other kind of programme could attract such a constant level of interest, night after night.I think its success lies in the fact that everyone who watches develops a particular interest, or can identify with, one person in the house, and the fact that big brother is shown every night means that you can quickly get to know that person, in the kind of personal way you know friends or aquaintences. ...This is a film about the legendary Blues Brothers, Jake and Elwood Blues- from Chicago. The story starts as Jake gets out of a long prison sentence, and wants to restart his old band with his brother- The Blues Brothers. This was mainly decided after a trip to the religious orphanage where the brothers were brought up and they first heard that this important place for the community would close due to lack of funding. However, all the members of the band have dispersed, got married or moved away so Jake and Elwood have a large task in pursuading them to come back. The cast is amazing- with John Belushi, Dan Akroyd, Cab Calloway, Ray Charles and Carrie Fisher occupying big roles. Their mission becomes more difficult when Elwoods ex-girlfriend tries to kill the brothers through the movie, and the police, nuns, singing cowboys and the Nazi... Read review

...After reading about Big Brother in various newspapers, I decided to watch Big Brother the other night on TV. I was highly impressed with it! It is a brilliant idea which will atract a huge audience. Putting 10 strangers in a house to live for 10 weeks sounds interesting to everyone, even the dullest of people. ...Fraiser is one of my favorite comedy series these days. It is particularly geared for the family to enjoy. The jokes are sensible, often, the characters are too good in their own roles. The drama is centred around a family of two brothers and their father, with their lady tenant. Fraiser, being the older brother, often takes care of the family. Most of the episodes focused on the character of Fraiser. Occasionally, the story would revolve around the father, the brother, or the tenant. ...After watching Big Brother for a number of times now, I think that the next person which will be kicked out or evicted from the Big Brother household will be Darren. I come to this conclusion as I predict that the nominations will be as follow. Darren = will nominate Craig and Anna Anna = will nominate Craig and Darren Mel = will nominate Craig and Darren Craig = will nominate Anna and Darren After analysing my predictions this leaves the candidates Darren with 3 votes, Anna with 2 votes, Mel with 0 votes and finally Craig also with 3 votes. This means that Craig and Darren will be up for eviction for the public, and going of the previous shows I feel as if the crowds would prefer to have Darren kicked out of Big Brother. This is my prediction and opinion on Big Brother for the forthcoming shows.... Read review

...Well I got on the train today morning on my way to work and all I could hear people talk about was big brother. Big brother is basiclly about ten strangers meeting and living with each othert for a short period of time in which the viewers eliminate the stars out of the house each week and the last one left scooping a nice prize! Whilst I'am watching the show there are many arguments between the people in the house. Big brother sets the group tasks to carry out if they want anything they have a spending limit and anything naturall they want like eggs they hatch them from thev chickens in the yard they are provided with!!!!! ...Rain Man tells the story of two brothers; the younger played by Tom Cruise is a volatile pushy person, who imports high performance Italian sports cars as a living. The elder brother played by Dustin Hoffman is autistic he has spent the main part of his life in institutions. When the brother's father dies, uncanny enough it's Hoffman who inherits his father's vast wealth. Cruise is outraged by this, and takes his autistic brother on a car journey across America. He has ulterior motives though and that is to woo his brother into sharing the money out equally. But during the trip Cruise discovers a different side to his brother, he has astonishing wit and wisdom and what's more he has almost miraculous powers. ...Ever since Big Brother began some 4 weeks ago, both the media and the public at home have built up a huge disliking to Nick. From the start Nick has always been the sore thumb of the group and is now known for his 2 faced ways and stealthy attitude. Basically, without Nick, Big Brother would be boring! For me, the highlights and best parts of Big Brother is watching Nick go from person to person tricking and fooling them and he definately builds up the tension and makes Big Brother such a pleasure to watch. I reckon Nick is taking the best possible approach to the competition, cos after all, it is only a gameshow. He is showing great skill and wit in what he is doing and even now, no one in the group is suspecting a thing apart from Melanie who has only just caught on. ...When Big Brother two first started, that was when I began to watch E4. If you were a Big Brother fanatic, like me! You would have found it great, I certainly did anyway. Big Brother was on practically 24 hours a day, and whenever you were bored you knew that you could just switch it on and you would be hooked. Also one of my favourite parts of Big Brother was Big Brother's Little Brother hosted by Dermot O'Leary was on every weekday evening, which i found brilliant! It contained loads of gossip, facts and the most uptodate facts on the one and only BIG BROTHER! But is there life after Big Brother, on E4? If you ask me I'd say yes! Streetmate hosted by Davina Mcall, one of my all time favourite presenters, plus the fact that the programme is often incredibly amusing! Sex and the City, a brilliant show, need i say anything else! ...I have seen all three series of Big Brother, Big Brother 1, celebrity Big Brother and Big Brother 2. Althoough the first one and the second one were great programmes, I did find the second one more entertaining. From Helens affair to Bubbles Troubles, Big Bro 2 has kept the nation in suspence for nine weeks as to who will be the winner of 70 grand. As we watched 10 new housemates enter the enclosed big brother house just over nine weeks ago we didn't know just how great the programme was going to be. Helen, Paul, Amma, Narinda, Penny, Dean, Stuart, Elizabeth, Bubble and Brian were the third lot of people to live in the house. As one by one the housemates were evicted and new boy Josh entered the house, the nation nominated and watched in suspence hoping that there favourite would win.
