...Once again Benefit have come up with the goods. This is an essential piece of make-up that you just can't do without. The highbrow pencil is a multi functioning eye pencil, used to hide the things you don't like and highlight the things you do. Its really easy and simple to use, and really makes a difference, whether its being used to cover up a blemish or discolouration or hide dark circles. Just a small amount under your brow line gives an instant lift to your eyes, or a quick dab blended well on the inside corners of my eyesheklps hide dark circles and bags. This pencil is light enough to reflect light and draw the eye away from your imperfections. The only downfall I could find was that this doesn't have a lid, so the tip of the pencil can get quite dirty in your handbag or make-up bag....

A thick and waxy brow pencil

Advantages: a reasonable look can be achieved with some skill
Disadvantages: too thick, too waxy in texture

...My natural hair colour is a dark blonde/mousy brown shade, and for several years I've been dyeing it a rich, dark brown. Unfortunately my eyebrows are still quite light and can look a little strange, so I tend to use make-up to make them darker. My favourite eyebrow product at the moment is actually another one by ELF - their studio eyebrow kit which is excellent, so I had hoped the ELF lifter and filler would be just as good. The product is a double ended pencil. One end is a dark colour with which to fill the brows in, the other is a lighter colour which you apply under the arch of the brow to highlight and lift the brow area. For Eyebrow Obsessives

Advantages: Easy to apply, gives a lovely natural, subtle look and highlights brows perfectly
Disadvantages: Can cling to hairs if your brows aren't perfectly groomed, expensive for what it is

...When it comes to my eyebrows I can border a little on the side of obsession - I ensure my eyebrows are always plucked to perfection and there is nothing more I enjoy than sitting in front of the tv with a pair of tweezers and a mirror and just chilling out and getting my brows in shape. Of course, I realise this isn't everyone's idea of a good time, but there is no underestimating the importance your eyebrows have in defining the shape of your face. Just think what Susan Boyle from Britain's Got Talent or that one from the Apprentice might look like if they got their eyebrows sorted! ...Once again Benefit have excelled themselves with this great product and I do not know where I would be without it, it leaves me eyebrows in place whilst tinting them, as I have fair eyelashes I need to enhance the darkness as they are fair and barely visible. Speed Brow by Benefit retails at around £11.50 and if you shop around online you will find it either cheaper than or as part as a special offer as I did on Boots, I gain extra advantage card points with my purchase, which is a saving in the long term. Speed Brow is a great product that comes in a gel and is used to tame your eyebrows and hold them in place, which is great as it stop those fly away eyebrows whilst leaving them looking natural and like they have minimal product on which is great. At the same time Speed Brow also tints your eyebrows a slightly darker shade...

A good product with many uses!

Advantages: Long lasting, nice shades
Disadvantages: Hard to sharpen, expensive

...youthful and awake. Instead of a powder or pot, High-Brow comes as a chunky crayon/pencil which is hard to sharpen because of it's width but they're a special sized sharpeners you can buy (of course this is further expense). With the product, you also get a small panflet informing you on how to use High-Brow which is great if you've never used it before. You could also use it in the corner of your eyes to bring a little shimmer to your eye area and it also makes you look wide awake. The product retails at £12.50 and even though it's good, I wouldn't spend this money on it, however it does last 6-8 months depending on how often you use it. For perfectly groomed brows

Advantages: Good range of colours, thin pencil for precise application, leaves brows groomed and perfect,

...I think there is nothing that can quite transform your face as much as a nicely groomed set of eyebrows. I admit I can be slightly on the obsessive side when it comes to plucking and grooming mine and when I finally had a little bit of spare cash recently I decided to replace my not very impressive Rimmel eyebrow pencil with MAC's snazzy Eye Brows pencil. MAC produce this pencil in a good range of colours which means there should be one that will suite any complexion: Strut (a mid toned brown), Fling (an ash blonde), Spiked (bottle brunette), Lingering (a hazel brown) Stud (a rich blackened brown), and Velvetone (film noir black). As a dark brunette I chose Stud - my eyebrows are actually black, but I find black eyebrow pencil is just a bit too much for me, so Stud was the perfect choice. Brow defining is child's play?

The Packaging: Long, thin dark blue pen and on the side of it I'm told it's Glimmersticks Brow Definer and it's colour coded at the end by a strip of colour. The contact details for Avon are on the side rather discreetly and it has a long lid and you simply twist the bottom half of the pen to get the colour up and down. It's all very simple to look at and I like it's long thin shape as it's easy to pop in the bottom of a handbag and take out and about with you if you want to as it isn't bulky. Huggable pencils

...Back to school I am thinking about the things we use there and we have lots of Berol hand hugger colouring pencils. Berol has developed these triangular pencils for children who are developing their colouring skills. They are easier to hold than the round colouring pencils. The triangular shapes helps children to hold them in a correct grip. Some of my disabled pupils find these easier to hold than standard pencils. The surface of the crayon is a slip resistant texture; it does not slip out of my students sweaty palms so easily. The hand hugger colouring pencil is comfortable to hold. These pencils do not splinter. The leads of these pencils are strong do not break easily. There is a good range or 12 colours available giving a 6mm wide line. ...Staedtler 120 Noris Pencil Perusing the household miscellaneous category here I come across Staedtler Noris pencils .I shall talk about the slim Staedtler pencil in the picture although I do know Staedtler make a large variety of pencils Now I know I have used many of these pencils, in fact I believed there was one in my stationary drawer next to me here at the computer.
