...As everyone who reads my reviews will know that I love chocolate. so when my mum came back from a recent shopping trip and I saw that she had brought back some Mcvities chocolate brownies that were covered in M&Ms I was very pleased. As soon as I saw them I thought they looked really nice and wanted one immediately. But I was good and I waited until everyone else was having one too. I think that these brownies are quite a new product as I have never seen them before. They cost 69pence each. The brownies are sold individually, and they look quite big. The packet describes them as a delicious chocolate brownie covered in milk chocolate, and topped with M&Ms. The packet is mainly brown with a clear window on the front so that you can see through it to the cake inside. ...Okay I started with Weight Watchers a month or so ago and have been losing weight steadily, despite the fact that I moved house in between and putting on some weight in between. Ah well. Anyway, having moved house my local supermarket is now Asda and isn't this just Weight Watchers heaven - anyone following the diet who hasn't visited yet, I strongly urge you to! Back to the review in question - the weight watchers chocolate brownies are quite the best "diet" cakes I think I have ever had. They come in a box of 6 (I think) and packaged in the usual Weight Watchers blue and weight packaging with the information that each brownie contains 2 Weight Watchers points - an absolute bargain! ...One of my favorite sweets are M&M's, one of my favorite puds is chocolate brownies so imagine my delight when I was at my parents for tea one evening and my Dad came in from work with a huge bag of Mcvities M&M brownies. He works at McVities and we get all the mishapes, trials ect hench my need for a slimming world membership. So what are they like? Well they are about a 3 inch square and about 1 inch deep, very gooey (that is a technical term you understand) very chocolately brownie. Brownies can only be decribed as being like a heavy sponge cake that is slightly undercooked in my opinion at least! They have a thickish covering of choclate on the top and a sprinkling of mini M&M's. I have it very good authority that there should be 21 mini M&M's on each brownie but i have had as few as 7 (sack the M&M putter oner!) and as many as 38... Read review

...Using the amount of alcohol I drunk yesterday as an excuse, I'm telling you I had chocolate cake for breakfast. You know some mornings after a heavy night you can wake up just craving sugar and stodge? Well, this morning I knew the usual standby of a sausage and bacon sarnie would make me sick - just walking past McDonalds on the way to taking the kids to school made me heave. So grease was out. I stopped at the shop to grab some milk (all the better to chase your hangover with, my dear...) and thought about getting some chocolate. As I nosed around the shelves I spotted these in the fridge, a chocolate brownie covered in teeny weeny M&M's. ...I thought i would share with you this wonderful recipe i found and added to to create gorgeous brownies the brownies are deliciously moist, laden with chocolate and crusted in a glossy coat of sugar. They are packed with generous chunks of gorgeous chocolate! here goes: the ingredients you need: 500g bournville chocolate or similar 75g butter 3 eggs 175g caster sugar 175g self raising flower pinch of slt 5ml vanilla essence How to make it: roughly chop 400g of the chocolate and set aside. Break up the remaining chocolate and put into a heat proof bowl with the butter put this on top of a boiling pan of water till it melts- then let it cool slightly. whisk the eggs and caster sugar together untill smooth, then gradually beat in the melted chocolate mixture sift the flour and salt together over the mixture, then carefully fold... ...Before I started my healthy eating I wrote this opinion and then forgot all about it so I have just put the finishing touches to it and I thought I may as well post it. Reading it through this opinion again has made me really want some now but I will be strong and remember the fat and sugar content and think to myself 'I am so glad I don't eat that sort of stuff now' (yeah right as she tucks into to her plain low fat yoghurt - not quite the same!). On with the opinion I have altered it a bit but I hope you still like it. The Ice cream is called Chocolate Fudge Brownie and if that sounds like a mouthful then you should taste the ice cream. The chocolate ice cream is nothing extraordinary but it's when you find the fudge brownie pieces that your taste buds explode with excitement, well mine did. I used to love eating Chocolate Fudge... ...I am on Weight Watchers. I love eating cake. Especially chocolate cake. Unfortunately losing weight and eating chocolate cake don't really go hand in hand..until now! I have sorted my biscuit cravings with my WW Double Choc Chip cookies, so nw I need to fill my cake cravings. So I scoured the shelves at Ssinsburys looking for a "healthy" cake, not expecting to find anything. But stuck at the back of a bottom shelf was one little box of Weight Watchers Chocolate Brownies. ...My friend brought a pck of these weight watchers brownies to work last night. I am always on the look out for low sin (slimming world) products especially sweet things so I had one. They come in a mainly white cardboard box with the weightwatchers brand name in dark blue writing and chocolate brownies written under that in the same dark blue. Beneath that is the decription of the product in grey much smaller writing. It says 4 delicious sponge cakes with chocolate icing with sugar and sweetener. There is then a picture of 4 quite yummy looking chocolate brownies with nice glossy loooking icing atop them. On the front of the package it states they are suitable for vegetarians, they contain 2 weightwatchers points, 0.6g of saturated fat and 143 calories this by the way is each not for the box!
