Disadvantages: You will always believe it is night, and it's maybe not for the claustrophobic.

...The Brunswick Cellars is pleasantly situated on the corner of Sauchiehall Street and Rose Street, the entrance being a faily obvious door, and is a smashing little pub. Once you creep down the steps and into the dark, moody and atmospheric bar you will instantly like it. A long bar and lots of seating makes room for plenty of eager drinkers. With practically only candles lighting the entire pub, it creates an almost medieval room with indie music playing from the ceiling. The prices are not too bad, with promotions available at certain times during the week. I believe there is a DJ on Friday and Saturday for your entertainment. Pop in for one or seven!...

Glasgow man in Glasgow hotel

Goliath is a big hooking ball

...The Brunswick BVP Goliath is part of their 'Value Performance' range of bowling balls together with BVP wizard, BVP Ambush, BVP rampage and the BVP punisher. The BVP is now a discontinued bowling ball replaced by the BVP Mammoth. The BVP range of bowling balls are supposed to give high end performance at value prices which they seem to do very well. The BVP Goliath has a high-load particle cover-stock (400 grit sanded) which up until the mammoth was the highest hook potential ball in Brunswick's history with a hook potential rating of 160. The two piece core of the goliath is a inverted bell core which gives a medium RG of 2.590. This gives a ball that hooks through the oil. The ball comes in a deep purple colour which is almost black which I think looks good. It isn't noticeably purple which is what I was after cause I'm not too...

The birth of the Victorian age

Disadvantages: Nothing really new revealed - though probably nothing new left to be discovered

...brings a slightly different approach to the tale from other writers by beginning with the disastrous wedding of Charlotte's parents, the fastidious, extravagant and selfish George, Prince of Wales and his loud-mouthed, evil-smelling, badly-dressed and extremely unfeminine cousin Caroline of Brunswick. They stayed together just long enough to produce the hapless Charlotte before separating, a process which culminated in her mother's undignified travels around the continent and his father's ill-fated attempt to divorce her. She then takes us through Charlotte's brief life and death in childbirth after producing a stillborn son, followed by the birth, childhood and accession of Victoria, culminating in her marriage to Albert and the birth of the first two of their children. At first I couldn't see the same jeans anywhere so I asked an assistant for some help. She was SO unhelpful, disdainful and downright rude. She was clearly not interested in helping at all and told me, blankly, that the only jeans they had left were the 'skinny' type (not what I was looking for).
