...Sainsbury's economy tooth brushes can be best described as a false economy. These cheap and cheerful toothbrushes come in packs of two and are rated as a medium brush. Unfortunatley I have found that after about a fortnight of regular brushing ie 2 or 3 times a day the tooth brush has become very spayed and the odd brisle or two ends up coming out whilest you are brushing. I would not recommend this tooth brush as you end up replacing them very quickly it would make better sense to buy a more expensive brush that lasts longer and so in the long term would save you money.... ...I thought an electric toothbrush was a bit of a gimmick until I tried the Braun 3D Plaque remover, this is a brilliant electronic toothbrush. The brush head not only oscillates but it also moves backwards and forwards at high speed which effectively removes more plaque between the teeth than oscillation alone so the maker says. The toothbrush comes with a Oral B indicator brush head. I cannot tell you the effective difference in use between the basic electronic brush and the 3D brush as I have not used the basic electronic brush. What I can say is that after using the brush my teeth feel the same as when I have been to the dentist for a polish, clean and smooth. Advantages: Makes cleaning pump an easy task.
Disadvantages: Wear out quickly, sometimes rust can form.

...This product is a must for fishkeeper with a filter, i.e everyone. There are two different sizes of brush in the packet, the smaller of which I find vital for the cleaning of the impeller in my filters, and they are also useful as a miniture bottle brushes. However, the brushs do wear out quickly, and I have to say that they are a bit on the pricey side when you consider what they actually are. I find that the bristles on the small brush fall off quickly, and so you end up with lots of big brushes, and no small brushes. Although the use of these are important, it may be better if you try and find something more economical. The cleaning of your filters are IMPORTANT, so make sure you clean regularly to avoid problems.... Read review

...I needed to find a makeup brush in which i could apply both liquid foundation and the powder form. After a long period of time looking and trying out different brushes, i saw this one advertised in heat magazine. So i went out and purchased it. It applys the makeup perfectly and with an airbrushed effect. It is easy to apply the makeup with this brush as it doesn't stick to the brush and therefore you get more useage out of the foundation as less is wasted. When finished with the product of your choice the brush can be easily washed and dried for use again. I do this will soapy water. As well as value for money, £6 from superdrug it also lasts long as unlike other brushes i have previously purchased the strands of hair on the brush do not fall apart during application of the makeup or the washing and drying of it.... Advantages: easy to use, timer to time you, removes plaque
Disadvantages: messy if you take it out of your mouth whilst brushing

...After spending hundreds and even thousands of dollars at the dentists with plaque problems and inadequit brushing technique a dental nurse put me on to this brush and I have never looked back! I had problems with brushing, how long do I brush for? Scrub or up and down motion? There are son many contradictory pieces of information out there it is ridiculus. I work in the health industry (pharmacy) and it was still confusing! This brush is so easy it is unbelievable! it even has a timer that times you for exactly 2 minutes! (the correct time to brush) Within 12 months of using this brush I went from 3 monthly visits to the dentist to now only seeing them once a year! This brush removes plaque with ease. Advantages: Easy for bbay to holf, headnot too big, very funky!
Disadvantages: More expensive than other brands

...I bought my son a lovely bright blue MAM toothbrush as soon as he cut his first tooth. These were the nicest looking toothbrushs I could find (might not seem important, but a baby will show more preference to somethign bright). Anyway, he loves it - he gets excited when I get it out (with or without toothpaste). I think the bristles feel nice on his gums. There is also a soothing gum massager on the other end of the brush - basically a piece of rubber with dimples on - the perfect thing for a baby to chew. It can be a task to get the brush back off him! The brush cost me £2.50 which was more expensive than the other brushs but I was concerned the brush head on te other brushes looked too big (babies have small mouths!). The MAM brush has a nice small head and doesn't choke my baby when he uses it. This is important too as a baby... Read review

Advantages: Lots of volume, and a wonderful mascara!
Disadvantages: Sometimes a little clump - but easily tackled!

...This is now one of my favourite mascaras! In fact - the whole rimmel 'volume flash' range is my favourite! This mascara adds much volume with little clump. The wand is extremely effective. The brush on the wand is long and thin which means you can apply your mascara quickly. Usually, a fairly cheap mascara consits of a potentially good mascara with a brush that resembles a toilet brush - and therefore all hope of a good mascara is ruined. This brush is really what makes the product - it is different to any other mascara brush than I have seen and holds a lot more product than other brushes. As I've said, this mascara provides little clump, which you may be thinking is not no clump is it? However, if a clump occurs, as long as you run the wand through it again straight away it should de-clump. And there really is no other downside... Read review

...Shopping at Xmas time, I noticed one of these tooth brushes for sale at about £12.00. I had always fancied one, but was reluctant to spend a fortune on them. Anyway, after buying and using it now for seven months, I can highly recommend. The brushing action is totally different to that of a normal tooth brush, but you do get used to it - just let the brush do the work. It seems to clean really well too. Keep it well charged though, since it's not much use on a low battery charge. The brushes look expensive, but do last a couple of months. Beware not to use whitening toothpaste though - I think that it grinds up the mechanism of the brush.... Read review

...After my bad experience with Wisdom tooth brush I went back to Reach. I was searching my local boots and came accross the offers where they had Reach tooth brushes as buy one get one free. A bargin at £1.99. I have used reach before so I knew they were okay. Each toothbrush is packaged individually in plastic with a cardboard back. The cardboard back is black with pink swirly lines with the name 'Reach control' down the side. At the top of the packet it states if it is a firm bristled brush or medium etc On the back of the packet it has a picture of the brush showing the 'movable' action of the neck of the toothbrush, the name and the address in various different languages. The brush is nice and easy to remove from packet as it has a bit scored out on the back of the packet which you just push in (like when opening a box... Read review
