Book a very cheap flight for a mini break to Brussels the capital of Belgium. I did this in June 2003 and I had a great time.

Comfort without character in Brussels
Advantages: Location, comfort, free Wifi
Disadvantages: Dodgy television, slightly tatty here and there
...When booking a weekend in Brussels travelling with Eurostar we decided to reserve a night in a hotel through Eurostar as well. Their discounted deals make more sense than booking travel and accommodation separately. Eurostars Grand Place Hotel actually has no connection with the Eurostar rail company, but we chose it as it is a four-star hotel situated close to the centre of Brussels...
