...I bought the Bt Freestyle 70 Silver Analogue Cordless Telephone in June 2000 from Argos for £29.95. So far it has been brilliant. I have enjoyed incredibly clear calls. It looks very stylish and has a very small base which can be wall mounted. It has 10 memories, last number redial, ringer volume control on handset, base to handset page facility, 8 channels auto selection, out of range check, tone and pulse takes and has an option to re-tune the reception during calls if the quality goes. ...BT Freestyle 3200 Twin I have had these twin telephones for about a year. I think they look quite stylish in two shades of silver, and because there are two one can go cordless in the bedroom which is useful. The design of the telephone makes it comfortable to hold for periods of time, as they are nicely rounded and are quite light. They are very useful to carry around whilst chatting on the phone.. The display area is clear and the numbers on the phone itself are clear and easy to read. The base unit is quite sturdy and sits steadily on any surface it is placed. However there is a problem with this telephone, you are supposed to be able to turn up the volumn on the phone and even when you put it onto top volumn it is difficuolt to hear the caller, and the caller has difficulty hearing what you are saying. ...It's never going to win a design award as each 'phone is bulky and quite ugly looking and the main 'phone's base is big in comparison to its competitors!! Saying this the BT FREESTYLE 3200 quad pack 'phones are easy to use and the menu is very simple. The 'phone book holds 30 names and numbers, you can put a call onto handsfree so if you need to pick up / move a child / pet or wash up etc you can while still yabbering away!! Or ... if you're me, you HAVE to put it on handsfree as you've forgotten to charge the 'phone and the battery will die whilst talking if you don't charge it at the same time!!!! The 'phone has 10 hours talk time and 1000 hours standby and works upto 300m away from the base unit. All in all ,it's a cheap and cheerful product it does what it's meant to and won't set you back too much!... Read review

...In desperate need of a nerw telephone (mine looked as though it came out of the ark!) I took a trip to my local electrical Superstore to see what was on offer these days. With so many to choose from I eventually narrowed my choice down to a BT phone as a safe option. One of my main priorities was that it had to be a cordless phone to allow me to talk out of earshot of all those little ears which wag when the telephone rings in my house! I eventually settled for a very well priced phone at £49.99, namely the BT Digital cordless phone , model BT Freestyle 2010. I firmly believe I made the right choice as I am so happy with it. ...Unlike most people, I bought myself a FreeSyle 70 not from a reputable highstreet shop, but from a dubious-looking market stall. Which means that I got it for £20, but you can expect to pay around £30 for it if you buy from an actual shop;) I'd never owned a wireless phone before the freestyle, so within minutes of getting it home I was ringing up all my friends on it and walking from room to room in the process, just because I could:) Indeed, this is a very good phone and compares well with far more expensive BT cordless models that I have used around friends' houses. In terms of reception, there's no real problem - unless you live on a farm or another large property where you're travelling more than a few dozen metres from the base unit. ...Purchased from Argos recently to replace my existing BT Synergy 600 (4 handsets that have all now failed (died)) Bt, british telecom are well known for their high standards in the telephone and broadband industry. I was very happy with my old bt phone, it had all the features one could ask for CALLER DISPLAY, cordless, extensive phone book, secrecy, last call and redial buttons along with 'int' - intercom to communicate from one handset to the other - used to transfer calls as well. - the twin set cost me £35 and the single would've cost £19 from Argos. I did some hunting around and found the Bt Freestyle 3200 was the same price (£35) in currys. It is Basically a white handset that sits in a holder on the wall. The holder doubles up as the charger and also carries the main aerial. This can be extended to improve the signal range. The phone itself is very contained. All of the functionality and buttons are located on the handset. It is contoured very nicely with a streamlined look and feel. A very modernistic approach to phone design while most other handsets are becoming very small and box like.
