Jabra BT200 Bluetooth Headset

Advantages: Easy to hear and be heard, cuts out background noise, good price
Disadvantages: Personally I find it difficult to keep it on my ear

...I bought this bluetooth headset for my fiancee a couple of months ago and it is excellent. The headset, once one, connects automatically to your phone once you accept it. The headset fits snugly and comfortably around your ear, with two types of gel earpiece provided, with spares also! Having no wires means you are free to move and talk naturally and after a while can feel like your not wearing it! the sound quality is excellent and the other person, I am told, can hear you just as clearly without you needing to shout! One disadvantage £50 is quite expensive. The other problem is that the battery doesn't last that long, approx 6-8 hours talk time, which may be lots for some people, depending on how much you use it. The headset is easy to recharge and comes with its own charger cradle, it prob takes about 4 hrs-ish to recharge...

...This headset is a bit expensive for its quality. Although i bought mine outside the country for a considerable lesser price, had i known better, i would have bought a wireless one. It is still functional after two years. I lost both of the voice tube microphone cover though and i think that is whats causing too much echo when i talk and too much mic sensitivity. That also causes alot of feed back so i have to press on mute all the time, and everytime i am done speaking, to avoid the feedbacks. On the upside it supports all Plantronics amplifiers and USB-to-headset adapters so i guess i just have to get one. It is also comfortable to wear for long hours. I would not recommend to get leatherette ear cushions, that made my ears sweat and itchy eeks....

Microsoft XBOX 360 wireless headset

...The microsoft xbox 360 wirless headset is very attractive and fits the ear very well - at least it fits mine anyway. The headset isnt particularly good at picking up quiet speech though, which is often a let down during games that require alot of detailed communication for tactics such as Gears Of War 2 or Call Of Duty WAW. The headset is priced at £34.99 RRP, which i think is quite reasonable for what you're getting. The headset comes with full instructions and a charge cable that plugs into the 360's USB point. It cannot be used in a play-and-charge situation which gets annoying so you have to leave it overnight to charge. It is mcuh less cumbersom that the various wired headsets on the market and has a good range using the 360's infra red technology system.
