AESTHETICS This has to be the nicest answering machine in terms of its looks that I have seen on the market. In terms of its colour and its shape and form is fantastic. It comes in a metallic silver colour, but it's a little darker than most of the modern electronics products so it stands out a bit more. It appears more of a grey colour and suits my brothers office. It is a really 'funky' shape as well. It isn't symetrical so it has a bit of a modern feel to it. None of the edges are straight so you end up with a mishaped ractangle. BT Response 75 Answering Machine.

Advantages: Good make and the 1471 facility is very useful.
Disadvantages: Need a battery so you don't lose messages if there's a power cut (as it's digital)

...they don't leave a message. I've caught companies out a couple of times when they've told me they called but didn't leave a message and I know they didn't. Other facilities include VIP alert so if someone specific calls and you've set the machine to silent it beeps to alert you. You can also delete messages individually instead of the whole lot. I work nights so my machine is quite often plugged staright into the jack with the phone unplugged, which allows me to still receive messages but not be woken by the phone. This machine retails at less than £30 and is easy to set up. It is easily available in the major electrical retailers but I have also seen it available on line. The user guide is comprehensive and, being a BT brand it is high quality. I would recommend it to anyone....

Great Machine!

Advantages: Quick Work-Out, Cheaper than Power Plates, Great Results
Disadvantages: Only tones your body, doesnt keep you fit.

...This machine is simply a must if you want to tone yourself up and not have the hassle of going to the gym for hours each week! I bought one of these off Ebay, and now so glad i did. Its simply an amazing piece of kit. My Personal Experience At first i thought, surely this machine cant be as good as i've been reading all over the net, people must be exagerating and just trying to sell the machine. How wrong i was.... The first time i used this, i trained at level 10 (ranges from 1-20) thinking i can take it at that level no problem, and sure enough i was ok, i did a few different positions for my legs, stomache and arms. I trained for about 10 minutes, as i wanted to see how much this would actualy do, and sales reports tell me that 10minutes of using this machine is equivelent to 1 hour at the gym. Boy oh boy did i feel it...

BT phone line.

Disadvantages: totally unreliable.

...From our experience with BT they seem to have a policy of treating customers with utter contempt. Since we had our BT line installed last summer we've had constant problems with the phone line. About 5-6 times the line has cut off, gone completely dead. Even when it was working there was constant interference on the line. Calling BT (very expensive if you're forced to use a mobile) usually takes the best part of an hour to get through to a human being, at which point they will tell you there's nothing wrong with the line and it must be your fault. Eventually (after having been put through to countless different people) they agree to send someone out to fix it.. but we're usually left without a working phone for a week, there is no apology or explanation for why the line was cut off in the first place, and no refund for the money they...

.... I feel my £14.99 a month is worth it, especially considering the amount of time i spend online at home. My problem with BT lies with their residential phone service. I have been with them now for approx. 3 months and in this time have encountered numerous problems. Since an engineer came round to install my phone line the line itself crackles constantly during every single phone call i make. Upon reporting this i was informed that this was probably due to my telephone - which was nonsense as i had already had the basic common sense to check this out before phoning BT. When you get BT's residential phone line, you now get answer 1571, an automatic answering machine that takes messages if you dont answer the phone or are engaged on another call. ...i can say that this is a great machine it really works and gives you good results i wouldnt say the best but you can certainly tell after a period of time that your body has toned up, i havent got one of these myself but i would like to get one when i can afford it lets say. the vibration on this machine is not like a massage its more intense and when you stay on it for quite a while you will feel your muscles tightnen thats when you know its working. so i definatly gives this machine a thumbs up, i suggest you buy this machine if your too lazy or bored to go to the gym because you can do many exercises on this in the comfort of your own home. this is a great machine and would recommend this a good buy...

Answering machines are really useful, and we have used one for years, but ours finally went wrong a couple of months ago. Faced with a bewildering choice of new machines, we did nothing, which in retrospect was the right thing to do! So, when I logged on to BT.com and saw their new service, BT Answer, advertised as a free service, I decided to give it a try. So far I am pleased with it, I know if I am on the Internet (which is often), or if I am out of the house or engaged on another call, incoming calls will be answered with a professional greeting and the caller can opt to leave me a message if they wish to do so. ...After having problems with my telephone / broadband / television provider i decided it was time for a change. I had been with with BT before when i first moved into my house and basically I just had a landline then and later added BT Broadband. My television service was from sky, the invoices that i was receiving at that particular time were equating to over £100 a month, thats why i left initially.
