...From our experience with BT they seem to have a policy of treating customers with utter contempt. Since we had our BT line installed last summer we've had constant problems with the phone line. About 5-6 times the line has cut off, gone completely dead. Even when it was working there was constant interference on the line. Calling BT (very expensive if you're forced to use a mobile) usually takes the best part of an hour to get through to a human being, at which point they will tell you there's nothing wrong with the line and it must be your fault. Eventually (after having been put through to countless different people) they agree to send someone out to fix it.. but we're usually left without a working phone for a week, there is no apology or explanation for why the line was cut off in the first place, and no refund for the money they...

Advantages: Neat, looks great, has everything you'd expect from a digital cordless phone.
Disadvantages: Not the cheapest on the market.

The Home Screen on the iPhone differs from most WIndows based Smart devices as a simple press closes the running program down. Bt Aqua phone

Advantages: Great design, Good quality phone with great features & clarity, along with an answerphone

...I bought the Bt cordless Aqua phone a few Months ago. At first I was very sceptical, I had owned a Bt phone in the past & it lasted less than 12 Months. I hadnt had another BT since. But I plumped for it. I liked the look & it had the kind of features I needed. On the whole I am very pleasently surprised. It has a seperate base unit, which plugs into your phone line. Although this is quite large for what youd expect it to be, its about 15 cm high. But the main benefit of it is you can put it next to the phone line, then you can put the handsets anywhere in your house there is a power supply. It means theres no main phone handset, they are all the same phones, with small bases. So if you want the main phone on the other side of the room to your phone socket, bingo, you can. No being tied to your phone socket or trailing wires...

Everything worked, easy to use yet still up to date with technology However, I recently lost the it and was given an iPhone, this phone is way 'cooler' than any phone I have ever had. Apple are taking technology in mobile phones way further than other brands I feel, ok there are flaws but where there are flaws there are exceptions with other cool gadgets that have made me completely forget about comparing it to my previous mobiles. For example, Google Maps, easy to use and very sufficient Internet use, amazing screen quality with touch screen buttons that actually work... really well too! The iPhone Masterpiece

Advantages: Visual beauty, ipod perfection, photo demon, movies screen, internet anywhere! PERFECT!
Disadvantages: cost and network locking (easily overcome) and ringtones (overcome aswell)

It has an overall of 4 buttons and a switch. 1 for the home screen, 2 for sound, 1 for on and off and the switch to mute sound. The rest is controlled by your fingers on the 3.5" touch screen. Advantages: sleek, shiny, lots of features
Disadvantages: don't mix it up with the TV remote

...I have been using an old combination phone/answermachine from the BT shop for the last 7 or 8 years & it has been playing up a lot. Since i switched to broadband the phone has to be unplugged & replugged in order to get a dial tone & nobody can dial in. As you can imagine this is quite frustrating but being a bit lazy i put up with it and made people ring me on my mobile all the time. I have now finally got around to replacing it with a BT freestyle 250 cordless & all my problems have been solved. We were in John Lewis having a potter around & being a man i wandered into the electrical department. Advantages: unbelivably sexy and beautiful, wonderful internet and video / music
