... Buddy Lodge I booked Buddy Lodge for my very first visit to Thailand having had it recommended by a couple of people. I was travelling from the UK alone and was being collected at the airport, but wanted to stay for a few days in Bangkok before moving down to my new home in Hua Hin. Location The hotel is located on the very busy Koh San Road in Bangkok, which is a haven for travellers from all over the world and aptly nicknamed "the centre of the backpacking universe". The street is actually heaving all day and well into the night with stalls, tuk tuks and bars. It?s towards the top of the street and you are likely to get dropped on in your taxi at this end if you?re travelling from the airport. The road is approximately 1km long which only spans a couple of blocks but is home to countless budget guesthouses...

JML Dri Buddi First Impressions

Advantages: Nice to look at, needs barely any cleaning, gives off a nice smell, makes clothing soft
Disadvantages: Not super-fast, noisy, very large

...I have had the JML Dri Buddi for a week now and my first impressions of this product is 'OK, this product means well. But I think more could have been done before finalising it' and my reasons for this are; The Dri Buddi does not do what it says on the tin. My first reaction to the Dri Buddi was 'Crikey, its huge!' The Dri Buddi stands about as tall as I am and I am 5'2". The bag (or tent as I like to call it) that goes around your washing to keep the heat circulating is very oval and round and puffs out even bigger when the Dri Buddi is on because of the circulating heat. Also, the Dri Buddi claims to be "Whisper Quiet" which is extremely untrue. After I assembled the Dri Buddi (which I must say was incredibly easy! How Many Beanie Babies in a Buddie

...This is an opinion about TY ?Beanie Buddies? and no other make of ?Beanie Buddies?. I fell into collecting TY ?Beanie Buddies? quiet by chance. I had never really intended to do so but it just sort of happened. I always thought they were over priced! But somehow it happened. I became hooked! I went in to my local specialist store in St. Neots to buy some beanie babies and instead came out with a buddie. In fact my first buddie was actually Jumbo Peace Buddie for £69.00, now worth around £100.00. Now have the full range of Peace bears and I also have Jumbo Sweetheart, which I managed to buy for £55.00 (A bargain price). Buddy Brilliant

Advantages: Makes you realise just how cool Blues can be
Disadvantages: The sound quality though not bad might put some people used to 'polish' off

...I always forget just how much I like Blues until I start listening to it again, though it can be hard to find it really pure and passionate these days. I have a couple of other Buddy Guy albums; one early on, his recordings for Chess Records, where he was a session player and though his desire to do so, was never allowed to cut loose (a mistake the head, Marshall Chess, recognised late on in the sixties when the likes of Hendrix, Clapton et al were crashing to stardom). The other, Damn Right I Got The Blues, from the nineties never quite cuts it. So what a pleasure it was to stumble upon Live At The Checkerboard Lounge. ...Apart from this CD being from one of the greatest 50's performers of all time who tragically past on way before his time along with other stars whoose talents like Buddy's were not at that time totally released as had he had the chance then record sales would have boomed. He was a household name and to many even in 2005 remains one of the most reknown artists of this genre of music. When you listen to this CD it makes you think back to the era when playing your guitar in a friends garage was what it was all about and you can picture when you close your eyes being there accross the road watching and listening to the raw beat and riffs(guitar solos) as they were performed with out any enhancing like you get with todays music. This CD has his most well known hits and songs on and is perfect for those relaxing evenings at home...

...This is a very odd game, its not about blood curdling zombies or fast cars, its something new and original. Ill start buy saying this game is full of bad language and has been given a 15 certificate which means that, despite its appearance and the design and colour in the game, it is definitely not for children. Basically you control a team of four Buddies and complete missions including tidying Buddie World's dustbins, recovering a stolen bike from rival Buddies and destroying anything else that you deem worthy. Its a fast moving game and against the clock. You have to build Buddies, weaponry and other tools of destruction by collecting the fallen boxes and stacking them in different ways on a stacking pad. Now, I'm not going to pretend that this is a brilliant and original piece of theatre. Nobody is going to be surprised that Buddy dies at the end in a plane crash or that he was a young and talented musician. But this is not what makes the show so great. It is the music which is the true driving force behind this particular piece of theatre.
