Budget accomodation gem

...The premier travelinn at charing cross Glasgow is perfect for the city break on a budget or for a conveniently positioned based when on business in the city. This is a large 12 storey hotel with a restaurant and bar on the first floor. All room are on suite and the price is per room not per person so if you are a family you get extra value from the family rooms at no extra cost. All rooms have remote control T.V. with selected digital channels (No satelite), tea and coffee making facilities and comfortable beds with additional bedding if required. Breakfast isn't included in the price and to be honest it isn't worth it anyway. As the hotels main negative the breakfast is luke warm and tasteless; got out for breakfast there are no shortages of local cafes and diners in close proximity. Best of the Budget

...We only had a limited budget for our pram and I desperatley wanted a travel system that had a carrycot for the newborn so that it did not spend ages in the card seat ( I had read a report that babies should only spend 2 hours at a time in a car seat.) At the cheaper end of the market there was very little choice but for an extra £30 you can buy a soft carry cot insert that transforms this forward facing buggy into a pram in which the baby faces you, My son was very cosy and protected and I could see his face and talk to him. I loved the colour, (I bought the oakwood version) which is cream and pale brown. It is different to all the black and navy prams on the market. I can see the cream suede effect material getting dirty very easily, especially as my son gets older but the covers are removable and washable so you freshen up your pram...

...Like most people at the moment money can be incredibly tight, especially with outgoings and prices rising it's becoming increasingly hard to appreciate money! When it comes to food I never really thought about the expense. Now don't get me wrong I very rarely shop in Waitrose or Marks and Spencers purely because I do think products are very overpriced considering you could go to a Tesco and pay a lot less! ...I actually enjoy cooking. I find it relaxing and de-stressing after a hard day at work and I enjoy adapting recipes to my own tastes. I like nothing better than to open a bottle of wine and sip it as I create. In the past I have led a strange eating lifestyle. I decided to turn vegetarian in my teenage years (whilst travelling with rock bands?you wouldn't believe the stick I got!) then turned back to gradually introducing meat into my diet. After travelling to various countries and sampling as many foods as possible I decided to try to adopt a healthier lifestyle but tried to keep the enjoyment of food alive. These are a few meals that I occasionally cook for friends who drop by unexpectedly and expect to be fed fairly quickly. Rate-wise this particular inn is cheaper at the weekend, when we paid £62 room only, which we booked on line in a matter of minutes, and received confirmation via email. ...My husband bought himself Audrey Niffenegger?s The Time Traveller?s Wife as he is a sci-fi fan. He read the book and put it on the bookshelf. After a few weeks I read a few reviews on it and discovered that we have this book so I started reading it. It was a very engaging reading I could hardly put the book down. When we heard that there will be a film based on this exciting and brilliant novel we decided to go together to the cinema to watch it. Excellent travel system

Advantages: Folding down, multifunctional
Disadvantages: Slightly heavy

...Being a first time Mum, I searched around all the high street shops for a functional and attractive travel system. Out of all the prams this one had the easiest folding down system, even tho it was slightly on the heavy side I could fold it down with 1 hand! The carry cot was great for the first 4 months fitting in to the pram snuggly as the seat folded flat (which I found alot of other prams didn't do) The car seat had a base that made it so easy to take the baby in and out of the car (no messing around with seat belts every time!) It is also very well padded, however it didnt come with cushioned protectors on the straps. When we were taking baby home for the first time, the midwife told us it needed them which were only £5 extra to buy. She's in the buggy part now which has three postions and harnesses which is great. Overall fab...
